GIMMICK DESCRIPTION:
Blacklisted from Mexico due to excessive violence. Betrayed in America by a manager that was too greedy, ZERO is now a man filled with rage and hell bent on destruction. In the later days of his RSW career, ZERO was mentored by his father - the infamous "Maniac" Jeremy Sage - learning to tap into the anger that consumed him. After RSW’s closure, ZERO was given one more try in Mexico where he spent the better part of a year in a heated rivalry with Miles Larsen’s newest client, Luca Cilic. After that, he would travel to New Orleans to compete in the Bayou Championship Wrestling where he would team with Veneno to form "the Serpent Society". The two would win, and lose the tag team championships before entering a blood feud with Sebastian Demko. Their manager, Valerie Villien, would turn on the Serpents to join Sebastian. After BCW, ZERO would briefly enter the EAW, once again finding himself being mentored by his father. His stint in the EAW wouldn't last long, and then he found himself in Japan and that was when he shifted.
In Japan, he wrestled in a few upstart companies - never really finding his footing with any company or the fans. He would meet Daniel Finch, an American who became a promoter for Pro Wrestling MIRAI. He would convince the wayward luchador to join his ranks, although it came with a cost. He would help the luchador gain footing, but ZERO would die. Tapping into the Japanese love of Kaiju, he would craft a new mask for - and rename ZERO to KAMAKIRI. The mask was a design based on the fabled Mantis which is where the new name came from. With Daniel Finch at his side, KAMAKIRI would begin a new chapter of his career as the Killer Kaiju.
