SVENSK WRESTLING SYD SHOW - JULY 15TH, 2017
Cosette Beaumont's arrogance had cost her. Pantsing Zahra Phoenix in an attempt to humiliate her had proved to be the biggest mistake the Queen of SWS could've made. Zahra didn't take too kindly to being exposed to a rabid crowd who wanted her blood, and the second Cosette stopped whipping her and let off her neck, Zahra snapped. She had taken Cosette out at the knees, making sure to fix her tights and flip off the crowd. As powerful as Cosette was, Zahra was running off of adrenaline. She had taken control and absolutely pummeled Cosette in the face with her fists. Zahra had also taken it that extra step by using the strap to cut open Cosette's face even further. The crowd was horrified to see Zahra mounting this comeback and as she used the extra length of the strap to tie off Cosette's hands, they started hurling all their trash into the ring. Both women ended up pelted with cans and bottles, drenched with liquids, and covered with condiments. As the match approached the 35-minute mark, Zahra knew she had to end it. She brushed off the turnbuckle as best she could, not wanting to slip, then positioned Cosette where she needed to be. There wasn't a lot of slack left with the strap due to Zahra's bondage work on her opponent, but Zahra had enough. She felt a bottle hit her back, but she remained balanced and focused. Zahra jumped straight down landing right on Cosette's head and face with her knees and rolled off. Cosette's nose was bent unnaturally and she was bleeding from it, as well as her eye socket. Scrambling up to her feet, Zahra wrapped the strap around Cosette's throat and drug her around the ring, slapping all four turnbuckles in the process.
The crowd was pissed.

She was beaten and bloody, but Zahra Phoenix was a winner. Despite the way she looked at the moment, Zahra held her head high as she walked to the backstage area. No one looked in her direction because everyone was completely disgusted over what had just happened. But Zahra didn't care. She didn't care about any of them and their opinions. She headed for the restrooms so she could wash off and inspect the damage done to her body. Viktor Swanssen met her at the entrance to the ladies' room.
"You did well."
"I fucking destroyed your so-called queen," Zahra gloated, a smug smile on her face. "I'm going to take everything back to So-Cal and do the same fucking thing to Madison Tempest. Whatever advantages that fucking joke of a wrestler thinks she has on me are null and void. She wants to drag the match out and punish me because her fitness is better? I just went almost fucking 40-minutes with someone who is known for her endurance and stamina. And I won. Madison's never competed in a match that long before. I took away Cosette's striking ability and size advantage by tying her up and keeping her on the ground. Madison can't touch me if she can't get up, now can she? Cosette's composure and focus didn't matter in the end because just like everyone else, she's got an ego. She decided to play to the crowd. There will be something that happens at So-Cal World War that will distract Madison, and that's when I'll strike. She already walks around so angry all the time. It will be easy to coax her into making a mistake. Lets talk about experience again, which is a huge fucking factor in all of this. Cosette has been in this business just as long as I have. Did that help her? NO. So how the fuck is Madison going to beat me, Zahra Phoenix, in her third fucking match?! There is literally NOTHING she can do that is going to keep me from winning. I've also got a strap match under my belt now. She literally has shit on me. My first two matches back in So-Cal have not been perfect. I will admit that. But if push comes to shove, I will have Matt and I will have Hunter, and that dumb whore won't have anyone. When all else fails, go for numbers right?"
Zahra winked at Viktor and pushed open the door of the restroom and disappeared inside. A smile touched Viktor's lips, knowing that all that confidence and attitude would crumble the minute he told Zahra that So-Cal World War would be her last match for the promotion for awhile. Sure, Viktor planned to let her go back for a show now and then, but Zahra was going to have to wait for a bit before she got inside that particular ring again.
Viktor had insisted on sending Zahra back to San Diego on his own private jet. She was secretly happy over that turn of events. She would never give Viktor the satisfaction of admitting it out loud, but Zahra suspected he knew because he was extra cheerful as she got settled in her seat.
"Believe it or not, I hope you have a safe trip," Viktor said and looked down at his wife.
Zahra rolled her eyes and tucked her legs underneath of her. "I was hoping I wouldn't have to see you again." After the SWS show, Zahra and Viktor had flown back to Stockholm and Zahra had fled to Bryony's. She had been with her sister ever since.
"Sometimes things don't work out in our favor, vacker tjej. But I hope what does work out for you is your match on Tuesday. I will be watching. I look forward to seeing Madison Tempest, the bright and feisty upstart take on Zahra Phoenix. I want to see if Madison can overcome all odds and humble you, dear. You had a lot of things to say after defeating Cosette. Perhaps Madison will watch your match and learn from it. She seems to be a quick study. I feel like she could be a champion in your home federation. All she needs is that one big win to propel her to that next level. Technically, has she really lost a match? You did not defeat her, and Tiffany used a distraction to pick up her win over Madison. I repeat, and this is a lesson you know well, things don't work out how we plan them."
"Well this will," Zahra lifted her chin in pure defiance. "I'm going to beat Madison. Hunter is going to kill off the Lannisters. And Matt will beat Tiffany to keep the company for Julian. He will go on to become the Ultraviolent Champion and Hunter and I will win the other two titles. So-Cal is as good as ours."
"Perhaps two of those things are correct," Viktor nodded. He pulled a set of papers out of his back pocket and gave them to Zahra. "But you work for me now. Cortez sold your contract to me. If I don't sign a match for you in So-Cal, how will you be their champion?"
Zahra gasped, shocked.
"Revenge comes in different forms, kära."
"You did well."
