FOOTAGE FROM EARLIER - PARKING LOT AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUSRowan Blackwood is pacing back and forth in front of the the back entrance of the building. Zander Blackwood is nowhere to be found. The feisty redhead appears to be waiting for someone and who that could be is anyone's guess. If nothing else, Rowan used her two weeks wisely to dip in her toes into several different bodies of water. An expensive corvette pulls into the parking lot and driving it is the blond bombshell that is Trixie. Trixie takes her time getting her stuff together and then makes her way towards the back entrance. When she sees Rowan, she stops and holds up her hands.
TRIXIE: “Look. I don't want anything to do with you. No snakes. No fireballs. I just want to get ready for the match later and-”
Rowan places her fingers to Trixie’s lips.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD: “Shhhhhhhhh! You don't want to talk to loudly. He might hear you.”
TRIXIE (confused): “Who?”
ROWAN BLACKWOOD (whispering): “Him.”
TRIXIE (frustrated): “Who is ‘him’?!”
A lovely little smile spreads across Rowan’s face.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD: “Gunnar.”
CUT TO: INT. FOOTAGE FROM EARLIER - THE RINGSIDE ARE - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUSHanalei Brightly sits inside the ring, knees pulled to her chest. It's a quiet moment for the former Revolution leader as she stares into the empty crowd.
HANALEI BRIGHTLY: “In just a few hours I have an opportunity to change the entire course of my career. Winning the Trans-Pacific Championship will catapult me to the next level.”
Hanalei is unaware that Bear Reynolds is watching her from a hidden spot in the crowd. Despite the fact he doesn’t hear what his former partner says quietly to herself, a smile touches his lips.
BEAR REYNOLDS: “The Hanalei from RSW preached about change, started a Revolution, and ultimately failed to win the war.”
Bear shakes his head and looks into the camera.
BEAR REYNOLDS: “Tonight I take something that should have been mine months ago. This is also my second chance, so to speak. Julian Cortez gifted me this chance to become the Trans-Pacific Champion and I won’t waste it. I apologize in advance to my three lovely opponents because that’s the gentlemanly thing to do, because that Bear Reynolds is gone. Tonight, I prove my worth as a singles champion. If that means I have to make an example out of everyone involved, Hanalei included, then so be it.”Now Playing: “Going Back to Cali” - Sevendust--- OPENING MONTAGE SEQUENCE ---

--- END OPENING MONTAGE SEQUENCE --- CUT TO: INT. JULIAN CORTEZ’S OFFICE - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUSJulian Cortez is seen sitting behind his desk, his phone pressed to his ear. The look on his face is one of stress and anger. Whoever is on the other end of the call is getting an earful of frustrated Spanish curses and broken English swear words.
JULIAN CORTEZ: “¿Qué mierda? What do you mean you’re more than an hour away? You do realize you’re under a damn contract don’t you? Ashtyn, esto es una mierda. You’re involved in the biggest main event ever and you don’t give a fuck.”
Julian pauses as the person on the other end - Ashtyn Rave - explains what's going on.
JULIAN CORTEZ: “Then I don't give a fuck!”
Julian hurls his phone across the room and it slams into the wall right as Noah Reigner and Eve walk into the office. Noah walked into the office, immediately looking at the phone that just hit the wall. Julian slicked his hair back in place and let out a frustrated sigh.
JULIAN CORTEZ: “Noah, amigo, just the man I wanted to see.”
Noah sat down in the chair in front of Julian’s desk. Eve stood behind, holding his UKWF Broadcast championship, which Julian noticed.
JULIAN CORTEZ: “I wanted to speak to you for a reason, Noah. See, I need people around me who are a little more…reliable than others. I’ve seen what you can do, here and in other places.”
He gives nod to the championship.
JULIAN CORTEZ: “You say you want to make your own name in this industry? Well, compadre, I have an opportunity for you.”
Noah slouched lazily in the chair, chewing a piece of gum. His aura screaming, “douchebag”.
NOAH REIGNER: “And what’s that opportunity, Julian?”
Julian smiled and turned in his chair, grabbing a piece of black cloth that was folded neatly behind him. He turned back and placed it on the desk in front of Noah.
JULIAN CORTEZ: “I know you research everything, yes? Then do some research.”
Noah picked up the cloth, clutching it in his hands.
JULIAN CORTEZ: “Aliyah and Larkin want to go to war with me, it seems. They’ve picked the wrong person to fuck with.”
Julian’s smile grew to one of evil intentions.
CUT TO: INT. THE BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUSMicaela Peszek is seen walking down the hallway when SCUV backstage reporter Tara Jacobs approaches her.
TARA JACOBS: “Micaela! If you don’t mind I would like to ask yo-”
Micaela is very quick to cut her off.
MICAELA PESZEK: “You are literally the last person I would ever want to speak too.”
A momentary look of panic crosses Tara’s face but being a professional at her job, she is very quick to mask it.
TARA JACOBS: “It will only take a moment.”
Micaela puts her hands on her hips.
MICAELA PESZEK: “Did it only take a moment for you to spread your legs for Gunnar Erikssen when you were dating Riley Calix?”
VOICE (O.S.): “Micaela!”
Micaela looks over her shoulder when she notices Riley Calix approaching. Tara immediately looks uncomfortable with the whole situation. Riley's eyes dart to Tara and then back to Micaela.
RILEY CALIX: "What are you doing here? You should be taking it easy, and knowing those two fuckers - they're here somewhere looking to get another jump at revenge."
MICAELA PESZEK: “I don't give a fuck if Jax and Gunnar are lurking somewhere around here. I'm here to make sure Trixie doesn't walk out of that goddamn ring with the Trans-Pacific Championship around her plastic waist. I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself.”
With that, Tara quietly slips away. Riley groans silently to himself.
RILEY CALIX: "Look. I'm just looking out for you. What Gunnar did to you at Asylum was ruthless, and trust me - if given the chance, he'll do a lot worse. Especially because your husband is in his ear. I know these guys, Micaela."
MICAELA PESZEK: "So do I, Riley. Jax was my husband for awhile, you know."
The two stare at one another, so much left unresolved between them. Riley starts to say something but Micaela cuts him off.
MICAELA PESZEK: "Look, I appreciate your concern. But I'm okay. I know you and Gunnar have a dirty history thanks to that little whore reporter. You don't mind having an excuse to fight him again. But I don't need you to fight on my behalf."
RILEY CALIX: "I know you don't need it, Micaela, but I'm behind you every step of the way. So you're going to get my help, regardless. This is the situation we find ourselves in, and I'm all you have to watch out for you. So, you're going to have to learn to deal with that.” MATCH ONE: Big in Japan (Jacqui M & Vintage Ayano) vs. dPEEg (Tommy Knox & Jason Cashe)Both teams have entered the ring. Cashe and Knox up to their usual antics of interacting with the crowd during their entrance. Jacqui and Ayano, on the other hand, were all business. They didn't take too kindly to Cashe and Knox not taking them seriously during their twitter exchange. Jacqui already stands in her corner, electing to start the match. Cashe and Knox rock-paper-scissors the entry. Cashe loses so he must start. With a shrug of his shoulders he takes his fighting stance - one that mockingly resembles “the crane” stance, another move that doesn't sit too well with Jacqui. She yells out “fuck you!” to Cashe before charging toward him. Cashe uses his speed to side step out of the way, Jacqui stops dead in her tracks before hitting the corner and turns to Cashe who just smirks.
Jacqui lunges out with her fist, jabbing at Cashe’s jaw. He holds it instinctively, but before he can react Jacqui lands a couple more in quick succession. She changes from jabs to kicks to the outside of his thighs. The smack of her boot hitting his leg echoes through the arena. The shots leave a stinging pain to Cashe’s leg, but he powers through and hits Jacqui with a lifting knee to her stomach. This puts a stop to her striking offense. Cashe shakes off the effect of those kicks to his leg before running to the far ropes. He bounces off of the ropes and comes back quicker than before, no doubt looking for some kind of offensive move. Instead, Jacqui is vertical again and takes Cashe down with a well-timed spinning heel kick.
Cashe backs away to his corner, eyeing the woman who just put him down. He used the ropes to pull himself up and turned to Knox. They leaned in close to talk strategy - which Jacqui wasn’t happy with. With an aggravated look on her face, she stormed into their corner and grabbed Cashe. Spun around with her back to his, and takes him to the ground with a backslide. The referee slides into position quickly, but only gets a one count before Cashe powered out of the pin attempt. Cashe is up to his feet quickly and charges at Jacqui attempting a clothesline which she ducks underneath. Cashe’s momentum takes him to the ropes near his corner where Knox blind-tags in. Cashe bounces off of the ropes and heads back to Jacqui. Jacqui instinctively drops down to the mat to have Cashe's momentum take him over her. She gets up, only to be put down with a stiff shoulder block from Knox who had entered the ring.
Cashe stops running and moves outside of the ring to his corner. Knox grabs Jacqui and pulls her up to her feet. Jacqui, feisty as ever though, breaks free from his grasp and quickly hits a incredibly stiff chop to Knox’s chest. Typically a “woo” would emerge from the crowd, but after that hard chop all we got was an “ooh” gasp. Jacqui hits a couple more before snapmaring him down to the ground. She would chop his back before quickly shifting and kicking his chest in a fluid motion. Jacqui grabs Knox by the hair and pulls him up to his feet, then pulling him over to her corner. She tags in Ayano and the team known as Big in Japan trap Knox in the corner, firing off tandem kicks. Ayano pulls Knox from the corner, positioning herself behind him. Jacqui hits another spinning heel kick, while Ayano sweeps the legs - taking Knox off of his feet altogether.
Jacqui leaves the ring and Ayano takes over. She stalks Knox as he returns to his feet, back to her. Grabbing his head, she turns him around and feeds him stiff knees to the face as she holds him in a clinch. Ayano lets him go after the third knee and rushes to the ropes. After bouncing off, she hits a stiff enzuiguri to Knox which drops him to his knees. He holds the side of his head, trying to shake off the cobwebs. Ayano’s striking power is being showcased right now. She’s back up to her feet and begins to fire off shoot kicks to Knox’s chest as he’s sitting on his knees. She steps back and is setting up for a roundhouse kick that would be sure to leave Knox unconscious, but as she swings her leg aiming for his head, he ducks underneath it at the last second.
Ayano spins around from her own strike power. Knox blasts up to his feet and when Ayano is fully turned to face him again, he floors her with a jumping knee to her chin. Knox grabs Ayano up only to quickly put her back down with a Russian Legsweep. Knox doesn’t bother with a cover, knowing she would kick out. Instead he returns to his feet, pulling her to his corner where Cashe tags back in.
Cashe climbs to the top rope as Knox lifts Ayano to her feet. Knox lifts Ayano up, holding her for Cashe to jump off of the top rope and hit a flying leg lariat, driving Ayano down to the mat underneath his leg, Knox simultaneously driving her down with a spinebuster variation. Now Cashe quickly moves into a pinning position, only to have Jacqui rush in and break it up even before a two count. The referee backs away letting Jacqui move to Knox and fire off forearms to his head backing him into the ropes. Once there, Jacqui moves back and runs at him - only for Knox to bend over and hit a back body drop on Jacqui who flies out of the ring and crashes hard on the floor on the outside!
Ayano has returned to her feet and is trading shots with Cashe. Ayano hits a kick to the stomach which backs Cashe away, giving her enough time to reach into her boot to grab her biker chain. Cashe stands up vertically again, only to be the victim of Ayano’s “KUSARIAT”! Cashe hits the mat hard, but before Ayano could do anything about that - Knox hits her with two right kicks to her thigh. She drops the chain to the ground after Knox follows those strikes up with a left kick to her stomach. He finishes the combination with a stiff DDT on Ayano. He slides into a cover, only to be told he’s not the legal man. Must have forgot that. Knox stands up and helps Cashe return to his feet. Once he’s standing, Knox turns around and is blindsided with the “JACQUI-KICK” from Jacqui who’s reentered the ring!
Just after Knox hits the mat, Cashe takes a running charge and hits Jacqui with “THE MARK OF JASON” before collapsing to the mat himself, still feeling the effect of that chained lariat from Ayano. Now all four combatants are laid out on the mat. Cashe and Ayano are still the legal people, though. It takes a few moments before anyone starts to stir.
All four combatants begin to pull themselves together and pick themselves up from the mat. Cashe uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet, showing signs of the chain from Anayno earlier. He tries to shake it off, and as soon as he does - Jacqui comes running toward him. Cashe can’t react in time to avoid the clothesline that sends him up and over the top rope and out of the ring. However, her momentum ends up taking her out of the ring too! Both Cashe and Jacqui crash to the outside of the ring, landing awkwardly.
Inside of the ring, Knox and Ayano begin to exchange strikes. Anayno’s strong-style plays to her advantage, backing Knox into the corner. She finishes her sequence with a stiff roundhouse kick that knocks him back. He rests in the corner while she backs up to the centre of the ring. With a loud scream, she charges at him. Only she knows what she had in mind here, but whatever it was it didn’t happen. Knox pushed himself out of the corner far enough to drop down, and execute a drop toe hold onto Ayano that sends her face crashing into the middle turnbuckle. Knox is up to his feet while Ayano sits, holding her face. Knox sprints to the ropes, hits them and comes back with a running boot to Ayano’s face!
He didn’t cover, though. Instead he immediately climbed up the nearest corner. He mounts the top rope and without hesitation, he leaps high into the air… crashing down ontop of Ayano with “AMERICAN HIGHLIFE” frog splash! He hooks Ayano’s leg and the referee slides down to the mat. One… Two… Jacqui enters the ring and leaps to break the pin.. Three!... but it was too late. Knox just picked up the victory for his team.
Winners: dPEEg (Tommy Knox and Jason Cashe) [15:32]CUT TO: INT. THE BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUSGunnar Erikssen is seen arriving at the building. He's riding solo tonight and the look on his face is one of anger. Given the unprovoked attacked on Dr. Emily Brewer (who he's apparently having an affair with), it doesn't surprise anyone that the former Ultraviolent Champion is angry. Standing in his way and talking to a stagehand is Tara Jacobs. When she sees Gunnar, she quickly turns to leave.
GUNNAR ERIKSSEN: “TARA!”
The pretty blond reporter stops and turns around, a fake smile in place.
TARA JACOBS: “Gunnar. How are you?”
Her voice is dripping with politeness and it's so obviously fake. Gunnar scowls at her.
GUNNAR ERIKSSEN: “Where's Trixie?”
He's practically screaming.
VOICE (O.S): “GUNNAR! GUNNAR!”
Trixie appears. She's dressed in nothing but lingerie, obviously ready to see Gunnar.
TRIXIE: “I heard you were look-”
Gunnar lunges for Trixie, wraps his large hand around her slender throat, and shoves her against the wall.
GUNNAR ERIKSSEN: “GIVE ME ONE REASON WHY I SHOULDN’T SNAP YOUR FUCKING NECK RIGHT NOW YOU STUPID FUCKING CUNT?!”
Trixie’s is obviously confused by Gunnar’s rage and despite her attempts to fend him off, he's way too strong. Gunnar is right in her face, which is turning red.
GUNNAR ERIKSSEN: “ANSWER ME GODDAMMIT!”
Trixie literally can't answer him because she's about to pass out. Gunnar’s hand continues to tighten around her neck. Thankfully, SCUV comes rushing into the picture and Elias and Alix are somehow able to pry Gunnar off of Trixie. Lindsay is kneeling down beside Trixie and checking on her, and the blond is desperately trying to catch her breath.
GUNNAR ERIKSSEN: “HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT EMILY?”
It takes Trixie a minute, but she finally is able to reply.
TRIXIE: “Emily? Who's Emily?”
TARA JACOBS: “Are you talking about Dr. Brewer?”
Gunnar nearly fights his way out of Alix and Elias’ grasps, but they manage to shove him back against the wall.
GUNNAR ERIKSSEN: “Of course. How many other fucking Emilys work here?!”
Tara narrows her eyes.
TARA JACOBS: “You've got to be kidding. You're disgusting!”
Tara storms off and everyone else, especially Trixie, seems confused.MATCH TWO: Tyler Devlin vs. Hailey Banks vs. Christian JonesThe three newest signees to So-Cal have taken to the ring. The crowd is already electric for tonight, standing on their feet even for this match. The bell sounds and immediately Devlin goes right for Jones. Banks stands in her corner, in fighting stance, but just watches this take place. Devlin has backed Jones into the corner with a flurry of strikes onto the bigger man. Chops, kicks, forearms in rapid succession until Jones manages to block one. Devlin looks a little shocked that his speed was countered. Jones hits a stiff bionic elbow to the top of Devlin’s head in this situation. Devlin staggered back out of the corner, but before Jones could move out himself - he found himself on the receiving end of a running dropkick from Banks.
Banks was immediately back up to her feet and moved onto the apron. Jones rested in the corner after eating the dropkick. Banks quickly spring-slotted herself over the top rope, landing on her feet - back to Jones, looking to hit her sling shot back elbow to Jones - but before she can, she’s blasted with a superkick from Devlin. Banks drops hard and rolls out of the ring. Jones explodes out of the corner and hits Devlin with a superman punch. Devlin dropped like a brick and Jones was quick to make a cover on Devlin.
One.. two..
Devlin kicks out, showing he still has some left in the tank. Jones rips Devlin up to his feet and whips him across the ring. Devlin bounces off of the ropes and comes back to Jones, who showcases his power when he lifts him up in a Military Press. Jones holds him there for a moment before mercilessly dropping him to the mat. Devlin crashes hard. Before Jones can continue his attack, Banks is back up onto the apron where she jumps onto the ropes, spring boarding off with a dropkick to Jones! Jones finally drops. Banks is back up to her feet and looks pleasantly surprised with herself.
Devlin has pushed himself up to his feet and Jones is now fighting up as well. Banks sprints to the ropes, bouncing off and as Devlin stands to his feet, Banks jumps up looking for a hurricanrana - instead Devlin stops her mid rotation. Banks lets out a shriek as Devlin turns holding her in this position. Jones is up and hits a sickening running knee lift to the the exposed Banks. Banks crumbles to the mat after Devlin dropped her carelessly. Jones continues through and clotheslines Devlin so hard he flipped over the nearby ropes. Devlin landed hard on the outside of the match with Jones looking down at him with a satisfied smile. With Devlin disposed of, Jones can focus on Banks.
Jones turns around to see Banks beginning to stir. That knee to the head really knocked her loopy. Jones grabs her golden locks to pull her up to her feet. Banks, though, reaches up and grabs Jones’ head before suddenly dropping down, pulling his jaw ontop of her head suddenly, hitting the jawbreaker. Jones doesn’t fall, but takes a step back, hand holding his jaw. Banks is up to her feet and moves back to put space between her and Jones. Jones shakes off the effect of the jawbreaker, furiously looking at Banks who charges for him. He lunges forward, but just a little too slow, missing her as she drops down to hit a well-timed and well-placed dropkick to Jones’ right knee.
The big man drops like a stone to his other knee, hands clutching at his right to favor. Banks is back up to her feet and sprints to the far ropes. She rebounds off and comes back quickly. Instead of hitting a running attack on Jones though, she steps up onto his back and uses his position to jump off of him and over the ropes - landing on Devlin who had just returned to his feet, with a suicide dive over the top rope!
“HO-LY SHIT!” chants erupt from the fans in the complex. Devlin lays motionless while Banks crawls to the barricade. Jones has left the ring and moves to Banks who’s beginning to pull herself up. Looking for a little bit of retribution for moments ago, Jones grabs Banks’ hair and pulls her to her feet viciously before he tosses her into the steel steps. Banks lets out a loud scream after colliding with the steel. Jones moves to the ring where he reaches underneath and pulls out his trusty baseball bat. The end dipped in glue and shards of broken glass stuck in the glue. He eyes Banks with a vicious grin on his face.
He moves closer to the siren before winding up, lifting the bat high above his head. He aims on bringing it down hard on her head; but before he can, Devlin comes in out of nowhere with a tackle! Devlin mounts Jones and begins to rapid fire punches to Jones’ head. Devlin quickly moves up to his feet before he took out a steel chair from underneath the ring. Jones was quickly back up to his feet, only to be blasted with the chair from Devlin! Jones drops hard to the floor. Devlin turns around and catches Banks in the stomach with the rounded end of the chair before dropping it and DDTing her ontop of it!
He didn’t stop there, though. Devlin was up quickly and with ease, he leapt onto the apron. With a smile, he stepped into the ring and turned to face outside. Slingshotting himself up onto the top rope where he springboards off, tucking himself into a ball and.. “SWAN SONG” onto Hailey Banks! The springboard 450 splash to the outside of the ring basically just incapacitated Banks, but took a lot out of Devlin too. However, he is up to his feet before Jones even begins to stir. Running on pure adrenaline now, though, Devlin moves back to just in front of the steel steps.
Jones returns to his feet, which is when Devlin takes off. He runs up the ropes, onto the apron and jumps off - looking for a flying forearm but Jones catches with a well timed “CHIN CHILLAH” kick!
“HO-LY SHIT!” chants again
Devlin is laid out. Banks is laid out. Jones dropped to a knee, still feeling the effect of that sickening chair shot. But, needless to say, he’s back to his feet before both Banks and Devlin are. He takes his time lifting both and putting them back into the ring before entering himself.
Inside of the ring both Banks and Devlin begin to stand to their feet. Banks’ forehead showing a little blood from the DDT on the chair from Devlin. She spots Devlin returning to his feet when she sprints toward him, hitting a drop kick to the bent over Devlin. Her boots connected with the side of his face and immediately he goes back down to the mat. Jones has entered the ring behind Banks and wraps his arms tightly around her waist, looking for a German suplex. Instead, though, Banks lands on her feet after flipping in the air. Jones thinks the move landed and takes his time returning to his feet. When he does, Banks charges toward him, hitting a well placed dropkick to his back that send him shoulder first into the near by corner.
She’s up to her feet when Devlin is up. He charges at her, attempting a clothesline which she side steps, grabs his arm and drag him to the ground where she immediately locks in her seated Fujiwara Armbar she calls the “PRETTY DISASTER”. It didn't take long after she locked it in before Devlin tapped.
Winner: Hailey Banks [12:20]CUT TO: EXT. PARKING LOT - ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX – CONTINIOUS.Tommy Knox and Jason Cashe are leaving the Ultraviolent Complex after another successful win tonight. The duo are dressed in street attire now, walking through the parking lot … looking for their vehicle.
TOMMY KNOX: “Dude, where’s my car?”
JASON CASHE: “We’re not fuckin’ doing that, man. I’m not re-wording the question to ask you, and you ask again. It’s tired, bro. – Look there’s your car right there.”
Jason pointed to a car further off in the distance. They took another couple of steps before Vintage Ayano and Jacqui M. ran at them from behind. Ayano had her trusty biker chain wrapped around her fist again when she clocked Knox in the back of the head. Cashe turned around just in time to have Jacqui tackle him to the ground. Jacqui throws wild punches, and Cashe tries to fight back until Ayano joins in by stomping on him. Ayano turns to Knox and stomps him as well. Ayano straddles Knox’s back in a camel clutch fashion, wrapping her chain around his throat and pulling back hard. All while laughing.
Jacqui moves into position to wrap her legs tightly around Cashe’s neck, applying her “Emasculation” submission tightly. Ayano’s laughter can be heard, while Jacqui yells down at Cashe and to Knox who’s trying to get free from the chained submission.
JACQUI M.: “YOU AREN’T SO FUCKIN’ FUNNY NOW, HUH? MAKE SOME MORE JOKES, GO ON! I TOLD YOU WE WOULD STRETCH YOU FUCKBOYS!”
Jacqui loosens the grip her legs have and moves away from Cashe. Ayano removes the chain from around Knox’s throat and stands up, only to drive his head into the pavement.
JACQUI M.: “This isn’t over, you fucks. It’s just only getting fuckin’ started!”
Jacqui kicks at Cashe before she and Ayano walk back inside the Complex.CUT TO: INT. BACKSTAGE AREA - ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX – CONTINIOUS. An empowered Larkin Kennedy is heading for the office of Julian Cortez. Carly Anderson isn’t with her at the moment. Instead of knocking, Larkin opens the door and just casually walks in like she doesn’t have a care in the world. Julian, who had been on the phone, gives the brunette business woman a harsh look. JULIAN CORTEZ: “May I help you?” Larkin places her hands down on Julian’s desk and smirks right in his face. LARKIN KENNEDY: “Actually, no. Not this time, anyway. I just wanted to stop and make sure that you were going to be watching the next match closely. You may have handed the only dick in the match the title shot, but Aliyah Turner is going to be the one that walks out with the championship. I’m with her.” Julian sits back. JULIAN CORTEZ: “You seem confident in your new found friend, Miss Kennedy.” Larkin straightens up and shrugs her slender shoulders. LARKIN KENNEDY: “Of course I am. Aliyah Turner is going into that match tonight for a purpose. She’s going to show you and the entire wrestling world that this is no longer a man’s business. This is a woman’s world and not only will SCUV get it’s first Queen of California, it’s going to get its first female Trans-Pacific Championship.” With a toss of her ombre locks, Larkin shoots Julian a confident smile and strolls from his office. As Larkin slams the door, Julian’s dark eyes narrow. He picks up the receiver of his desk phone, punches in a few numbers and sits back in his chair. JULIAN CORTEZ: “Take her out.” He slams down the phone. MATCH THREE - TRANS-PACIFIC TITLE MATCH: Hanalei Brightly vs. Bear Reynolds vs. Aliyah Turner vs. TrixieBear was the first one to the ring, followed by Aliyah Turner, then Trixie and last Hanalei. Aliyah’s eyes darted from competitor to competitor, the veteran knowing that anyone could get the jump early so she was prepared. Hanalei and Bear stand next to one another - talking between themselves. Trixie’s eyes locked on Aliyah who handed her a loss here last week. They all know what's at stake here tonight, the Trans-Pacific Championship. All four of these competitors deserve this chance for either the efforts put forth in this company thus far, or for efforts of the past. None of them want to let this slip through their fingers.
The bell sounds and immediately they all jump to the attack.
Bear and Hanalei turn together and close the gap to Aliyah, also whom Trixie is immediately all over. The So-Cal veteran is a tough opponent, they all know it. All three have backed her into the corner with clubbing blows. Trixie turns around, ready to share a high five with her newfound compatriots - only to be floored by Hanalei with a hard lariat. Trixie hits the mat and immediately reaches up to her mouth, checking if Hanalei knocked any of those chicklets loose. She didn't get time to recover before Hanalei lifted her up. Bear was now keeping Aliyah in the corner with a series of chops to her.
Hanalei has pulled Trixie to the middle of the ring where she uses her technical advantage to suplex Trixie down to the mat. Once she has Trixie there, Hanalei keeps her down with a driving knee to the side of the head. Hanalei then stalks her, waiting for Trixie to sit up before she charges to her and hits running double knees to Trixie’s chest. Trixie lets out a yell of pain after the move, but wasn’t given any recuperation time before Hanalei grabbed her blonde locks and yanked her up to her feet again. Hanalei whipped her to the far side ropes, and when Trixie came back - Hanalei took her down with a spear before flowing into a mounted position and beginning to rain down punches to her opponent.
During all of that; a spark ignited inside of Aliyah and ‘The Spitfire’ as she calls herself, began to fire back shots of her own to Bear. Her speed is definitely being used to her advantage here as she is quick enough to block a shot from Bear and fire off her own, landing a couple of shots in succession. Her striking power isn’t much, but it’s enough to back Bear off of her and allow her to move out of the corner. She’s made enough space between them to turn and hit the ropes, coming back to hit a beautiful dropkick to Bear that sends him reeling back, but not down. No, he didn’t go down until Aliyah returned to her feet and charged at him again, hitting a clothesline. Her head snaps to Hanalei who just speared and mounted Trixie. After watching Hanalei land a few hard shots, Aliyah charged to them and relentlessly pushes Hanalei off of Trixie.
Hanalei rolls to the corner, shooting a glare up at Aliyah - who just tells her to bring it. Hanalei shoots up to her feet and the two come face to face. Aliyah fires off a right hand, landing against Hanalei’s head. Aliyah attempts another, but Hanalei’s speed comes in and blocks that. Hanalei fires off one of her own, and given her striking power, it is enough to knock Aliyah back a step. Another exchange that mirrored this one takes place, and now Aliyah is a greater distance away. Aliyah shakes the effects of the strikes off, before closing the gap with her kicks. Kicks to the outside of Hanalei’s legs that weaken “the Firecracker”s foundation. Aliyah, though, deviates from her plan of kicks before her trademark roundhouse kick, and instead attempts a clothesline. She must have known Hanalei would have spotted that, so after Hanalei ducks underneath it - Aliyah allows her momentum to carry her forward to the corner where she jumps onto the middle rope and springboards off. Turning in mid-air and hitting the springboard crossbody on Hanalei that takes her down. Aliyah stays in this pinning position, but only manages about a one and a half before Hanalei powered her shoulder up.
Bear and Trixie have began to exchange blows themselves. Bear uses his power and technical advantage to his liking, muscling Trixie into position to suplex her down and keeping her grounded with a wrist lock. Applying his weight over her as he keeps her down. He lifts his body up in handstand fashion, applying more weight before his body swings back down. He folds himself in order to bring his knees down, driving them into Trixie’s ribcage. Bear releases his grip from Trixie and allows her back to her feet. She holds her ribcage, those knees sending shockwaves of pain through her body after they connected. But this is where Trixie’s opportunism is displayed. She had just a couple of brief moments up before Bear was back on the attack, however she spotted that and grabbed his arm, taking him down quickly with an armdrag. Bear was up to his feet quickly and when he turned back to Trixie, she showed her quickness and agility by sprinting to Bear and taking him off of his feet with a headscissors takedown.
Bear rolled out of the ring and Trixie moved to help Aliyah. Aliyah had picked Hanalei up and threw her into the corner, where she fired off kick after kick to Hanalei’s stomach. Trixie came into the mix and both Aliyah and Trixie grabbed Hanalei and teamed together hit a double Northern Lights suplex out of the corner. Neither one bridged into a pin, though, and they were immediately back to their feet when they locked eyes again. To say they didn’t have a good relationship was putting it mildly. But for now, with the nod they just exchanged, they agreed to work together to take out Hanalei who lay on her stomach after rolling over, avoiding a quick cover. Aliyah moved to her legs, stepping between them while Trixie readied herself. Aliyah bent forward, wrapping her arms around Hanalei’s waist and in display of power, deadlifted Hanalei up in a wheelbarrow position… and together…
“WELCOME TO PAIN” / “BEAUTIFUL DISASTER” COMBINATION!
Aliyah hit the Wheelbarrow Facebuster on Hanalei and at the same time, Trixie hit her jumping cutter on Hanalei as she was driven to the mat. Hanalei lay out cold while Trixie and Aliyah move up to their feet. Now, they go at one another. Aliyah was quicker on the attack, but Trixie’s strikes and power give her the advantage. Trixie whips Aliyah into the ropes and takes her down with a well-timed dropkick. From there, Trixie moved over to Hanalei and covered her. The referee slid down into position to count the one… two…
Just before the three count, Bear entered the ring and nearly took Trixie’s head off with a soccer style kick to the face. Trixie immediately rolls off of Hanalei, holding her face. Aliyah has now returned to her feet and Bear see’s this. He closes the gap between them before taking her down with an Exploder suplex. Aliyah rolls out of the ring after the impact, joined by Trixie, whom Bear shoves out with the heel of his boot. Bear then turns his attention to Hanalei, who has again rolled onto her stomach and is beginning to just barely crawl to the ropes. Bear kneels down on one knee, checking on his fallen co-Revolutionist. He helps her up to her feet in a show of respect, all the while still double checking to make sure she’s okay after that double team move from Aliyah and Trixie who are beginning to stir on the outside.
Hanalei leans against the ropes, looking down at the other competitors - maybe entertaining the idea of catapulting herself over. However before anything could happen Bear moves behind her and german suplexes her! Hanalei lands on her head in a sickening way and Bear immediately pops up to his feet. His eyes locked on Hanalei, and with that move it’s clear that this was every person for themselves and no Revolution ties mattered here.
Trixie and Aliyah have both returned to their feet, Trixie climbing onto the apron which catches Bear’s eye. Aliyah walks around the ring, holding the back of her head after taking that exploder suplex moments ago. Trixie enters the ring and immediately Bear is on the attack, showing a new viciousness and ferocity than we’re used to experiencing from him. After a few clubbing blows to the back, Bear sets her up for - and hits his trademark piledriver, “HEADHUNTED”. Trixie’s head is driven into the mat in a sickening way, and Bear rolls onto his knees, looking down at his victim with a sick smirk. He rolled her over onto her back, but then…
FLYING DOUBLE KNEES! Aliyah hit the ropes and jumped up just in front of Bear, hitting that move. Bear is driven into the mat under the weight of Aliyah’s momentum. He rolls out of harms way for now while Aliyah stands to her feet, noticing Hanalei beginning to stand up. Once she does, Aliyah kicks her in the stomach and sets her up. Lifting her up for a powerbomb before letting her fall back. She stepped over Hanalei’s arms and… “GOT ‘EM”!. Aliyah rolls Hanalei over, arms still locked over her arms. The refereee slides into position - one… two… three!
Winner and New Trans-Pacific Champion: Aliyah Turner [19:52]She did it! The bell rings and Aliyah Turner has captured the Trans-Pacific Championship! The SCUV original staggers to her feet and throws her hands into the air. The crowd is going wild and rightfully so. They’ve supported Aliyah since day one and she’s finally gotten her hands on championship gold! The referee gets the championship from the timekeeper and hands it over to Aliyah. She looks at it with a mix of pride, jubilation and confidence.
Hugging it to her chest, she climbs to the turnbuckle and raises it high in the air. The fans use the opportunity to take dozens of photos for their social media accounts. Aliyah jumps down and goes to the second turnbuckle, posing with her belt there as well. After a few seconds, Aliyah hops down and is going towards the third turnbuckle when her music cuts and the video screen that is set up by the entrance way clicks on. Larkin Kennedy is out cold in the parking lot. She’s bleeding from the back of her head. Her left arm is bent at a disgusting, awkward angle – no doubt broken. The camera slowly pans up and standing over Larkin is Angel Assesino. Aliyah’s celebration is cut short and she immediately exits the ring upon seeing Larkin. CUT TO: It hasn’t been a great night for Trixie. She’s been duped by Rowan Blackwood into thinking Gunnar Erikssen was looking for her for actual positive and perhaps sexual reasons. She got blamed for an attack on Dr. Emily Brewer by Gunnar and he tried to choke the life out of her. And the icing on the cake was the fact she failed in her quest to become the Trans-Pacific Champion. As Trixie heads backstage, dejected, Micaela Peszek appears from a darkened corner. In her hands is a saffiano leather handbag from Michael Kors much like the one Trixie carried around for her first couple of matches. Micaela slams the bag into Trixie from behind and the blond crumbles to the ground. An evil lap escapes Micaela’s perfect lips as she jerks open the bag and removes a brick. MICAELA PESZEK: “See you February twenty-first, bitch.”CUT TO: INT. HALLWAY – ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX – CONTINIOUS Zander Blackwood leads his love, Rowan Blackwood through the hallways on their way to the ring. Her hand in his, fingers laced and locked tightly. With a smirk forming over his bearded face, he stopped suddenly. Rowan, off in her own little world, didn’t stop in time and bumped into his arm. He turned on the heels of the shoes he wore and looked down at her. ZANDER BLACKWOOD: “Are you ready, babe?” She looked up at him, nodding her head. ZANDER BLACKWOOD: “I know you are. You’re going to be the Queen of California, you know? My Queen of California, and I can’t wait to carry you out of here with that trophy in your hands.” She smiled, he continued.. ZANDER BLACKWOOD: “Good luck, Ro. I’m going to be with you every step of the way.” She jumped up into his arms, wrapping her legs tightly around his waist and her arms around his neck. ROWAN BLACKWOOD: “Thanks, Z. By the way; did you do it?” ZANDER BLACKWOOD: “Yes.” Her smile grew and she leaned in, kissing him passionately. CUT TO: EXT. PARKING LOT – ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX – CONTINIOUS A rental car rips into the parking lot area of the Ultraviolent Complex. There was no one outside, everyone having poured into the Complex long ago. The car parked and the engine shut off. Both the driver’s side and the passenger's open at, almost, the same time. From the driver side out steps Maximillion Cartwright and Ashtyn Rave from the passenger's. They both closed the doors before Ashtyn walks around the back of the car, a cigarette hanging between her lips. She takes a deep drag from it before flicking it aside. MAXIMILLION CARTWRIGHT: “Ready?” ASHTYN RAVE: “As I’m ever gonna’ fuckin’ be. Let’s get this shit over with.” She said before leading them into the area.MAIN EVENT - KING OF CALIFORNIA V FINALS: Ashtyn Rave vs. Sydney Hilton vs. Rowan BlackwoodSydney and Kensington to the ring first. Rowan and Zander to the ring next. Zander and Kensington remain on the outside while Rowan and Sydney stand in the ring, eying all of the weapons hanging from the chains above them. On one side of the ring, even a section of a steel fence is attached to these chains. This is the So-Cal Death Match. Ashtyn was last out to the ring, but didn’t use music or even come through the entrance way - she staggered through the crowd, not giving a fuck about a grand entrance to this thing. Her hands were taped and she was ready for a fight. She shot both Zander and Kensington a glare before she entered the ring. Once inside, Tara Jacobs’ voice was heard over the P.A. system as she announced the match as the King of California final. The crowd that has packed into the Ultraviolent Complex erupts into cheers. Ashtyn’s eyes lock onto Sydney across from her and her lips curl into a snarl.
The bell officially sounds and knowing he would be an immediate target, Sydney reaches up and grabs a kendo stick from the chains. Ashtyn halted her approach, but only for a moment. She stepped closer, which was when Sydney swung the kendo stick with all of his might, nailing Ashtyn in the ribs with it. She lifted her arm in hopes of catching the weapon, but failed to do so. She backed up, holding her ribs as she doubled over. Sydney’s gripped tightened like it were a baseball bat, and he summoned Ashtyn to come again. Ashtyn’s eyes were fire as she looked up to her ex-fiance again. She charged to Sydney again, and he wound up the kendo stick again. But before he could swing, the weapon was grabbed from his hands by Rowan who moved into the picture. Sydney turned to look at the ‘Countess of Carnage’ and was then tackled right into his corner by Ashtyn. She drove her shoulder into his stomach multiple times while having him trapped. Ashtyn backed away from the corner, allowing Sydney to walk out with weak legs when.. BAM! Kendo stick to Sydney’s head from Rowan Blackwood.
Sydney crumbles to the mat and Kensington rushes to the corner where he lays, checking in on him. Once she has verbal confirmation that he’s okay, she yells at him to get back up and fight then. Ashtyn and Rowan seem to have agreed to work together, at least in order to get Sydney out of the contest. Ashtyn has moved to another corner and climbed onto the middle rope, where she reaches up and grabs a steel chain that’s attached. She jumps down carelessly, wrapping the chain around her fist - every intention being bad. Rowan has mounted Sydney, shoving the kendo stick into his throat and applying weight to it - choking him with it. Upon returning to the fallen Sydney, Ashtyn yells out at Rowan to move - which she does - and Ashtyn mounts him. With that chain wrapped around her fist, she mercilessly starts to punch him right in the head. Five solid punches before grinding those chain-wrapped knuckles into his flesh. Once she pulls away, we notice that Sydney’s forehead has started to bleed. She smiles, satisfied with that sight as she stands up.
Sydney waves his arm in the air as he tries to roll over. Ashtyn unravels the chain from her fist and straddles Sydney’s back as he rolls onto his hands and knees. Wrapping the chain around his throat, she pulls back choking him with the chain. His left hand comes up and he tries to weave his fingers around the chain to cause separation, but it’s no avail. Sydney then began to crawl to the ropes, reaching out for them. That kendo stick shot from Rowan must have been hard, it seems to have made Sydney forget what company he was working for. Rope breaks don’t count, especially in a So-Cal Death Match. He does get to those ropes, though, and after a moment of holding them - he realized the referee was nowhere around. In fact he was only there to count the three count. Sydney then used the ropes to pull himself up to a vertical base.
Kensington, Rowan and even Zander all watch on in a slight state of shock that Sydney is still fighting back. He stands and Ashtyn wraps her legs around his waist tight - still trying to choke the life out of him. Sydney takes a few steps, trying to shake Ashtyn off of his back, but when that doesn’t happen - he suddenly runs backward and slams her into the corner. Her grip loosens, but only a bit. He steps out of the corner and repeats the process. After this time, her grip loosens completely. Ashtyn slumps in the corner and Sydney walks out of the corner, right into a baseball style swing of the kendo stick aimed at his stomach. He doubled over holding that area, neverminding the fact that his head was pouring blood right now. Rowan lifted the stick high in order to swing it down on his back, but before she could, he lunged forward and took her down with a double leg takedown. He landed some rapid fire shots of his own to Rowan, who covered up and tried her best to block a few incoming.
Sydney sprung back up to his feet, picking up the kendo stick again in the process. He turned just in time to see Ashtyn charging out of the corner. He side stepped her advances, turning with her as she passed him. He wrapped his arm around her, and lacing his leg over her’s - kendo stick across her throat as he drove her down to the mat with a Russian Legsweep. Sydney was back up to his feet quickly and was met by Rowan’s clubbing blows to his back. Sydney managed to turn into them before shoving her away, all the while still holding the kendo stick in hand. Rowan looked annoyed by the shove and marched back to Sydney, who swung the kendo stick and hit her firmly in the stomach with it as well. She stopped dead in her tracks and dropped to her knees, holding her stomach in pain. On the outside, Zander’s eyes narrow as he watches Sydney mock Rowan. Sydney drops the kendo stick before sprinting to the far ropes, hitting them and coming back with a stiff running knee to Rowan’s face!
Sydney moves to the side of the ring where Kensington stands and exits. Even though there are weapons a’plenty hung above the ring, he still goes underneath and pulls out not one - not two - not even three steel chairs, but four and tosses them all into the ring. Ashtyn and Rowan are both returning to their feet now, and Sydney has slid back in himself. Sydney grabs one of the steel chairs and drives it’s top into Ashtyn’s stomach, then immediately does the same to Rowan. The man who’s not accustomed to using weapons knows that this is really his only chance to get out of this alive, and Kensington gives her approval on the outside. Sydney turns back to Ashtyn, who’s beginning to crawl away. He stalks her, tapping the chair on the mat in a taunting fashion. Zander has willed his wife up to her feet. She takes a moment to gather herself, holding her ribs after the chair shot added to the damage from the kendo stick, before she quickly moves behind Sydney. In one quick motion, she grabs his blonde locks and pulls him back to apply an inverted facelock. She quickly rips her feet out from under her, spinning around and driving an elbow down on his chest as he falls backward.
Zander slams his hands on the mat in approval. Kensington yells something incoherent at Rowan. Ashtyn uses this time to return to her feet, the expression on her face is more anger than before. She grabs the chair that Sydney handled before, and mercilessly slams it down onto him one, two, three, four times. Rowan stands back, watching this with a smile on her face before she looked up and saw the steel fence attached to the chains that hang above the ring. A light bulb illuminated over her head. She stopped Ashtyn and pointed up to the fence, and immediately Ashtyn clued in. She dropped the chair and in a show of team work, they both moved to Sydney’s fallen body and grabbed a leg each. Dragging him into proper position, they looked at one another and nodded before locking a hold of the leg and falling back - catapulting Sydney up and into the steel fencing that hung suspended in the air. Well. That fencing wasn’t intended to be hit with a body being thrown into it. The chains holding it suspended gave way and the entire thing (and Sydney) collapsed onto the floor!
It was a miracle no fans were in that immediate area, otherwise Julian would have quite the problem on his hands. But the fall for Sydney was sickening. His body landed hard on the cement floor, and landing ontop of the fencing didn’t do him any favors at all. Pain immediately shot through his entire body and he rolled around grimacing. Rowan and Ashtyn both returned to their feet, with a similar thought process. They both reached out for a steel chair that Sydney previously threw into the ring. They each turned around to see the other with a chair in hand. There was an unspoken respect there. They decided to drop the chairs and do this the old fashioned way; wrestling. Ashtyn’s technique advantage comes into play when she ties up Rowan, easily slipping around her with a waistlock, lifting and driving Rowan down to the mat. Rowan struggles to fight, but Ashtyn slips around again and applies a grounded headlock.
Rowan’s feisty, though. She pushes herself up from this position, Ashtyn keeping the headlock applied. Ashtyn flipped Rowan over her hip with a judo throw, falling with her to keep the headlock applied. Rowan kicked her feet up, wrapping them around Ashtyn’s head - applying a head scissors which causes Ashtyn to release her hold and focus on getting out of Rowan’s. Once free they both shoot to their feet, eyes locked on one another. The fans show their appreciation for that exchange. On the outside of the ring, Sydney is starting to return to his feet - showing how much this trophy and the win mean to him too. He wasn’t going to roll over and die, certainly not this early. He pulled himself up to his feet, turned to the ring and with groggy legs he made it back there. Ashtyn and Rowan have decided to lock up again, which is when Ashtyn kicks Rowan in the stomach before hitting a neckbreaker to the Countess of Carnage. Ashtyn returns to her feet, eyes still on Rowan as she stomps down on her, unaware that Sydney has re-entered the ring and grabbed one of the chairs.
With a yell of her name, Sydney explodes toward her. Ashtyn turns around and is nailed in the head with the steel chair! The fans “OOHHH” at the sound of steel off cranium. Ashtyn hits the mat hard. Rowan is back up to her feet, and Sydney doesn’t spare her either - BAM! Chair shot off of the head. Rowan hits the mat just like Ashtyn before her, and she rolls out of the ring. Zander jumps onto the apron, furious at that and he too gets a chair shot for his troubles! The big man goes down hard, landing on the floor next to Rowan. Sydney’s running on adrenaline now. Kensington on the outside approves of all of this, clapping and cheering after every chair shot that Sydney connected with previously. Sydney would march to the centre of the ring and set up the steel chair he held before grabbing Ashtyn by her green locks and dragging her up to her feet. Sydney hit her with a European Uppercut which made her stumble back and sit onto the chair that he had just placed. With a twisted grin, Kensington shouts up at Sydney to end her. He grabs another chair and looks down at his girlfriend, then back to Ashtyn. Winding up the chair, he then rapidly closes the gap between them…
BAM! Smashing Ashtyn’s head in with the steel chair. The force of the shot knocked her back from the seated chair, and she now lay in a heap on the mat. Outside of the ring, Rowan and Zander have returned to their feet, and Zander reaches in side of the ring - grabbing Sydney’s foot which he pulls out from underneath him. Sydney falls to the mat, dropping his chair in the process, and gets dragged out of the ring by the former Trans-Pacific champion. Outside of the ring, Zander nearly takes Sydney’s head off with a stiff clothesline before being approached by Kensington. She yells at the Bearded Brute, which he just smirks and turns away. She forcefully grabs his arm and spins him around - but when she does, she gets speared by Rowan who doesn’t take too kindly to someone else laying their hands on Zander. Rowan mounts Kensington, grabbing two handfuls of her hair and repeatedly slamming her head off of the floor on the outside of the ring. Zander has now grabbed one of the tables that has been left at ringside, and set it up. This table was no ordinary table, though. Taped to the top of the table were three light tubes. After setting it up outside of the ring, Zander turned to Rowan to tell her.
Rowan gets off of Kensington who rolls away from the carnage, and moves to Sydney. She grabs his hair and pulls him to his feet. She, though, didn’t move him to the table Zander sat up. Zander looked a little confused by that, but didn’t stop her. Rowan shoved Sydney against the steel barrier before taking a few steps back and charging at him. She jumped up, hitting a running crossbody that sent her and Sydney flipping over the barrier and into the crowd.
Now again. Sydney, Rowan and Ashtyn were all down. Although Ashtyn had been making strides to return to her feet, albeit very slowly. She’s rolled onto her side and moved closer to the ropes in the ring. Rowan seems to have a burst of energy and is up quicker than one would expect after the hell she’s gone through and that crash landing a second ago. Once to her feet, she grabs Sydney’s hair and pulls him up with her. Sydney hits her with a forearm to the ribs, which begins the battle of exchanging strikes through the crowd. They work their way to the merchandise area, the very area that Ashtyn and Jack fought to before. Sydney manages to use his power advantage over Rowan, blocking a shot and hitting her with a quick Death Valley Driver, driving the red-head into the concrete floor.
All focus turns to the ring which Ashtyn Rave has removed herself from. She too wears a crimson mask, that second chairshot from before opening her up. She notices the fight has spilled into the crowd, so she follows in pursuit. She needed to be there incase a pin was attempted. Once she was there, she saw Sydney standing over Rowan who, now too, was bleeding. During watching Ashtyn’s pursuit, Sydney had mounted Rowan and drove his bare knuckles into her head repeatedly, eventually ripping open her skin. Sydney stands up just as Ashtyn approaches from behind and… as if she had just competed in the super bowl herself, Ashtyn winds up and completes the field goal kick right between her ex-fiance’s legs! Sydney drops to his knees, and Ashtyn walks right in front of him. She bends down, yelling in his face “this is what you deserve!”. She takes a few steps back before blasting Sydney in the face with a superkick that would have made Adam Blake proud.
Ashtyn looked around for Rowan, noticing that she was nowhere to be found. This confused her, but took the opportunity to cover Sydney. The referee had to push through the crowd of people that circled around them, finally making it only to drop down when he saw the cover. One… Two...
Kickout! Somehow Sydney got his shoulder up. It could have been the delay in count from the referee having to fight his way there, or it could have been pure heart and instinct from Sydney. Who knew? But Ashtyn was definitely not happy about it. Ashtyn keeps Sydney on the ground, and locks in the submission maneuver that she calls, “Literally Going To Break This” which was an armbar. She applied it tight and wrenched back on it hard. Sydney lets out a scream of pain that sends chills down everyone’s back. Sydney, though, doesn’t tap. It’s not in his nature to do something like that. Ashtyn knows that she would literally have to break his arm before he gave up, and that’s the length she was willing to go. But instead? Her hair gets grabbed and she’s pulled up to her feet by… Kensington! She’s entered the crowd and perhaps just saved her boyfriend. Ashtyn mouths, “you stupid fucking bitch” before blasting her in the face with a forearm shot that grounds her immediately. Ashtyn follows her down and applies her in the armbar now!
Ashtyn wrenches back hard, not even caring that this is her own cousin. Kensington screams and cries out, her free arm flailing around trying to grab onto something - someone. Sydney rolls onto his knees, shaking the pain away from his arm - and that was when he spots Ashtyn and Kensington. Sydney pushes up to his feet and rushes toward them, kicking Ashtyn in the face to break the hold. Ashtyn rolled away for a moment, while Sydney kneeled down to check on Kensington. This played out for a moment before Ashtyn returned to her feet. She joined Sydney and Kensington, clubbing Sydney in the back with her forearm. Sydney stood up and looked to return the strikes but before anything more could happen…
[Moments Ago] Ashtyn had just joined Rowan and Sydney in the crowd and kicked him between the legs. Rowan crawled away from the chaos and to the nearby flight of steps that was directly behind the merchandise table. This is where excess fans went to enjoy the sights from the balcony level constructed in the Complex. Rowan ascended the stairs slowly while Ashtyn and Sydney fought. Once at the top, she climbed over the protective railing and perched herself on the outside ledge of the balcony. This is a familiar place for Rowan, having jumped off of this before during So-Cal’s last run. She watches and times this perfectly… ROWAN BLACK LEAPS OFF OF THE BALCONY AND CRASHES DOWN ON ASHTYN, SYDNEY AND KENSINGTON!
Everyone lays motionless in what looks like a car crash. Rowan inflicted a fair amount of damage on herself as well, her head hitting a chair that had fallen to the ground.
“HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT!”
Erupts from the fans in the Complex. No one has gotten up, hell no one has moved. Zander has climbed over the barrier and rushed to his wife’s side, checking to make sure she was okay. Several moments pass. The fans still chant, clap and stomp in unison. Slowly Ashtyn begins to pull herself up to her feet, followed by Sydney. It was Rowan who was up last. Ashtyn and Sydney began to exchange strikes, their hatred for each other causing them to continue to fight even through all of this. They eventually make it back to ringside and climb over the barrier. Zander has lifted Rowan up onto his shoulder and carried her through the crowd to ringside. He placed her down sitting against the barrier. He knew she wanted to continue this match and wouldn’t dare throw in the towel for her.
Sydney looks to have gotten the advantage, blocking a series of strikes from Ashtyn and firing off stiff European uppercuts. Rowan, another burst of energy coursing through her veins, rushes up the steel steps and onto the ring apron where she jumps off and dives at Sydney with a crossbody. Sydney, though, catches her and flips her up onto his shoulder before planting her down onto the floor with a massive slam. Sydney returns to his feet, only to get caught by Ashtyn who fires off shoot kicks to Sydney’s legs. She weakens him to a point to where he drops on a knee before she steps back. With a primal scream, she charges toward Sydney hitting a running knee to his head. Ashtyn, bloody faced, breathes heavy as she slows down for a second. Rowan is still laid out on the ground, bleeding as well. Sydney bleeds heavier than the other two, and he lays face first on the ground.
Ashtyn grabs Sydney’s golden locks and drags him up to his feet. With a series of punches to Sydney, Ashtyn finally is able to move him to the table that Zander set up earlier. She leans him against the table before reaching underneath the ring and grabbing a pair of brass knuckles. She slips them on her right hand and moves back to Sydney, grabbing his hair with her left hand to keep him steady - she buries her the brass knuckles into his head with a series of punches. This weakens him to the point where she is able to move his body onto of the light tubes without them breaking. Once this is done, she removes the brass knuckles and slides into the ring. With a plan in her head, she marches to the near corner and climbs onto the top turnbuckle. She wiped the blood from her brow before steadying herself as she turns to face Sydney. And without another second of hesitation, she jumps.
“KHALESSI’S KAMAKAZI SHOT”! ONTO SYDNEY, DRIVING THEM BOTH THROUGH THE LIGHT TUBES AND TABLE!
Ashtyn hit an amazing Corkscrew Moonsault from the top rope onto Sydney through the table and light tubes. More stomping, clapping and chanting from the crowd. “HO-LY SHIT”! The chants weren’t in unison, though. Half chanted that half chanted “THIS IS AWESOME!”, the latter eventually winning over the former and soon enough the entire crowd in the Complex was in unison.
Sydney lays in the shards of broken table, and glass from the light tube. Ashtyn lays motionless ontop of him. Rowan is still out from the attack before. The referee sees Ashtyn ontop of Sydney and counts.
One… Two… Three!
Winner and King Queen of California 2017: Ashtyn Rave [33:47]
Julian Cortez is the first person out, followed closely by the medical staff. Julian walks to the scene of the carnage, helping Ashtyn up to her feet. She leans against the ring apron, and this is where Julian awards her the King of California trophy.
