EXT. PARKING LOT AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS It's a cloudy night in San Diego and rain is threatening. The evil duo of Rowan and Zander Blackwood are seen walking towards the building. Rowan skips ahead of Zander holding her arms out and twirling every few steps or so. Zander, as usual, is watching his wife’s back.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “Do you feel that Zander?”
Rowan tilts her lovely face up to the sky and closes her eyes.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “Something exciting is going to happen tonight and I just know that whatever it is, you and I are going to be front and center!”
She giggles and when Zander stops in front of her, Rowan slips her arms around his waist.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “Sydney, Sydney, Sydney. He's going to get a taste of what it's like to face a Blackwood inside the ring. I'm going to enjoy picking him apart and that pretty little pet kitty Kensi too.”
Zander lifts Rowan’s chin with his finger and looks down into her face.
ZANDER BLACKWOOD “They're forgetting you. All of them are.”
Rowan’s eyes dance with delight.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “It doesn't matter, Zander. After tonight, everyone will know why I'm the favorite to win the whole thing.”
Zander scoops her up and Rowan wraps her legs around his waist. As thunder sounds in the background, the Blackwoods share a rather sweet kiss.
CUT TO: EXT. PARKING LOT AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINIOUS Jaxon West and Gunnar Erikssen are seen getting out of Gunnar’s 1964 fully loaded Ford Thunderbird. Both men were stoned face and silent, no doubt looking to get into trouble later. As they near the back entrance of the building, they spy Rowan and Zander Blackwood. A look of pure disgust crosses Gunnar’s face as he eyes one of his former SCUV rivals in Zander. As the two men near, Rowan and Zander share them down. There's no love lost between any of these people due to various reasons and some of them extend far beyond the Jax/Micaela mess. Jax and Gunnar don't stop as they pass the Blackwoods but Gunnar makes sure to bump Zander as they walk by.
GUNNAR ERIKSSEN “Tell your faggot friend I said hello.”
Rowan snarls and is about to lunge for Gunnar, but Zander holds her back. Jax and Gunnar chuckle as they disappear inside the building. Tickets or not, no one is going to deny the former Ultraviolent Champion access to the building.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “I want to watch them burn.”
Rowan pouts and while Zander nods his head in agreement, he pulls out his cellphone. A smile crosses Rowan’s lips.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “Calling Riley?”
ZANDER BLACKWOOD (nodding) “Yupp.”
MATCH ONE - dPEEG (Tommy Knox & Jason Cashe) vs. Anonymous (Hades & Zeus) Both teams have taken to the ring and to their respective corners. Zeus and Hades stand motionless while Tommy Knox and Jason Cashe play a friendly game of rock-paper-scissors, but instead of one of the traditional choices they both choose a sign that pinches their thumb to their index fingers which they then bring to their lips; international sign of a joint. They both share a laugh before Knox exits the ring, choosing Cashe to represent them first. Without so much as a word, Hades steps forward for his team. Zeus exits the ring to let the bigger of the two take over. The metal-mesh mask shows no emotion especially as he tilts his head to the side just a bit, eyes focused on Cashe who doesn’t show any intimidation in the slightest. The bell sounds and Cashe sprints to Hades and expertly ducks a clothesline thrown by the masked man. Hades turns around to eat a well placed drop kick to the knee. He no-sells the effect, reaching down to grab Cashe after he hit the mat - but his lackluster speed is shown as he misses when Cashe rolls away.
By the time Hades is full standing again, Cashe is back to his feet and has sprinted to the ropes. He bounces off and hits another dropkick to the knee. This time Hades drops to a single knee. Cashe is back up to his feet and immediately plants Hades with a snap DDT from this position. Cashe floats over into a cover, only to get a one count before Hades - literally - power-pushes Cashe into the air and off of him. Cashe is quick to keep the bigger man grounded, though. He moves back, and applies a side headlock. He wrenches on the hold, trying to cut off the airflow for Hades. However, Hades uses his incredible power to muscle himself up to a vertical base. Cashe still hanging onto the side headlock. He spins himself and Hades around, allowing Knox to blind-tag into the match. Hades manages to then wrap his arms around the waist of Cashe, lift him up and drive him into the mat hard with a suplex. Hades returns to his feet with focus on Cashe, but instead gets hit with a leaping shoulder block from Knox, who entered the ring and mounted the middle turnbuckle. Hades hits the mat and Knox is over him quickly.
Knox hits a quick leg drop onto Hades, then immediately follows into a triangle choke by rolling onto his back and wrapping his legs around the big man’s throat, trapping his arm as well. Hades, again, uses his power to stand - lifting Knox up with him. Hades then drops Knox with a powerbomb, which causes the hold to be broken. Hades then collapses as well. Even though the match had just started, Knox and Cashe worked him quickly and Hades was in need of his partner. He muscled up to his feet again and made his way to his corner for a clean tag with Zeus. Zeus quickly moves into the ring and notes Knox’s position. He moves to the ropes, and waits. Knox moves up to his knees and then to his feet. That was when Zeus springboarded off of the ropes and landed behind Knox, grabbing his head on the way down in the process - pulling him backward and hitting a reverse DDT in one fluid motion in a move that he calls “Crack the Code”.
Zeus quickly bounced back up to his feet but before he could make the cover, Cashe came back into the ring and hits the “U.T.I.” out of no where onto Zeus! Cashe is back to his feet when Hades comes back into the ring and delivers a stiff kick to his stomach before setting him up for, and successfully hitting his “Freelance” Pumphandle Powerbomb. Hades stands over the fallen body of Jason Cashe, thinking that he was the last man standing in the ring. Unbeknownst to him, Knox has begun to stir and pick himself up from the mat. Knox moves behind the big man and hits a devastating low blow!
Knox stands up as Hades doubles over in obvious pain. Knox picks Cashe up and checks on him. With a nod they part ways again. Knox moves behind Hades while Cashe stalks him. Hades is fully standing again and BAM! “Mark of Jason” from Cashe. Hades doesn't fall, instead he absorbs the impact and it pushes him back into Knox who immediately applies the “Drunken Hangover”! A lethal combination they call “Mark of a Hangover”. Hades is quick to tap once the submission is applied.
WINNER: dPEEg (Tommy Knox and Jason Cashe)
Knox releases Hades from the submission hold. Hades rolls out of the ring where he's meet by Zeus. Inside of the ring, Cashe and Knox celebrate - that is until the sound of Arch Enemy’s “We Will Rise” rips through the sound system. Cashe and Knox turn to the entrance way to see Jacqui M, “The Alpha Bitch” walk out from behind the curtain. She doesn't have a microphone, nor does she walk to the ring. She stops and stares down at the boys of dPEEg.
Of course, because of who they are and because there is only one of her and two of them, they don't look intimidated at all. Instead they look at each other, point and laugh at her trying to intimidate. Abruptly her music cuts and is replaced with an instrumental version of “Don't Get In Our Way” which brings out Jacqui’s partner - Vintage Ayano. She stops next to Jacqui and the laughter from dPEEg stops. Cashe yells out for them to come to the ring while Knox holds the ropes open.
They begin walking.
But before anything could happen - the voice of Julian Cortez is heard. He walked out from behind the curtain with a microphone. Jacqui and Ayano stopped and turned around. Cashe and Knox look up at the boss with curiosity.
JULIAN CORTEZ “Normally I wouldn't stop what is about to happen, but I want to heighten the anticipation of this showdown. You have all been very vocal to each other, so making this match is a no brainer. At King of California, the team of Big in Japan - Jacqui and Ayano will meet Cashe and Knox in the match that they all want.”
And with that, Julian turned and made his exit. Jacqui and Ayano began to walk backward to the curtain, not taking their eyes off of Cashe and Knox in the ring.
INT. BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS Hailey Banks is seen leaving the office of Julian Cortez. Whatever conversation the two of them may have had inside is private for now. The bubbly blonde has a smile on her face like usual and she appears to be walking towards the women’s lockerroom. Before she can make her way there, her cellphone rings. Seeing the name on the caller ID causes Hailey to roll her eyes, but she answers anyway.
HAILEY BANKS “Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiden. I told you not to call me until after eleven. Some of us totally have to work for a living.”
Tara Jacobs walks up to Hailey looking to get an interview. Hailey gives her a smile and motions that she will be just a moment.
HAILEY BANKS “I wouldn’t know if there are quote ‘hot pieces of ass’ around here. I just got to San Diego like five days ago and I’m busy. But seriously, I have to go. Go talk to your wife or something. Bye now.”
Hailey gives Tara an apologetic look.
HAILEY BANKS “I am so sorry!”
TARA JACOBS “That’s fine! I was just wondering if I could let the SoCal fanbase know why you’re here and what your intentions are. You just left Julian Cortez’s office?”
Hailey nods.
HAILEY BANKS “I did.”
Tara just smiles.
HAILEY BANKS “As far as why I’m here, I just want to wrestle! Things didn’t work out for me back in RSW but I’m confident things will be different here. Mr. Cortez is a great boss and he made LLC an amazing place for us compete. It totally sucks that things in Mexico changed, but it seems like the best talent in wrestling is here now. So what I was talking to Mr. Cortez about was a match for the King of California I-pay-per-view that is coming up in two weeks. He told me to find an opponent and the match is totally done. So basically I guess I’m issuing an opening challenge to anyone on the roster. Lets bring it and show everyone why SoCal Ultraviolent is the new place to be!”
CUT TO: INT. BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINIOUS Sydney Hilton and Kensington Prescott are seen walking into the building. Despite what went down two weeks ago, Kensington seems okay even though her arm is in a sling. The couple are in deep conversation.
SYDNEY HILTON “I don't know what I'm going to do when I see Ashtyn tonight.”
KENSINGTON PRESCOTT “She's a washed-up sorry excuse for a person and even though she'll likely get past Hanalei Brightly this week, she has no chance of surviving both you and the arsonist in two weeks time. Maybe if we’re lucky, she’ll overdose again and die.”
Sydney gives Kensington a look. Her comments were a little extreme and the past few weeks he's seen a different side to his girlfriend.
SYDNEY HILTON “No more tragedy. I don't think anyone needs to die, to be frank. But she needs a reality check. I don't know why you didn't have her arrested for assault.”
Kensington shrugs with her one good shoulder.
KENSINGTON PRESCOTT “It’s simple. Nothing in this world is going to hurt Ashtyn more than seeing us together, happy, and in love. When you destroy her and Rowan at King of California and go on to become the Ultraviolent Champion, she will tuck her tail between her legs and run away again. Karma is a fucking bitch.”
Sydney stops.
SYDNEY HILTON “Karma? What are you talking about? We’re the ones who hurt Ashtyn. It's not the other way around.”
Kensington looks flustered for a second before she regains her composure.
KENSINGTON PRESCOTT “For stabbing me, obviously. Anyway just remember what we talked about when you first got here. This is our last stop. You either make it or I walk away because as much as I love you, I'm done with this city to city, life on the road bullshit. Make an example out of whoever it is you’re facing tonight and if Rowan tries to involve herself, make her regret it.”
Kensington kisses Sydney on the cheek and saunters off. She leaves him a bit confused but the smirk on his face definitely lets us know he doesn't mind watching her walk away.
MATCH TWO - Trixie vs. Aliyah Turner Things haven’t gone well for Aliyah Turner since her beloved company, So-Cal Ultraviolent, had been sold to Julian Cortez. Her opponent for tonight, Trixie, is just one of the many new faces Julian has hired. As Aliyah walks to the ring, she looks determined and focused. In her mind, she has a point to prove and that is the fact that SCUV is the house she helped build. The fans lavish her with praise as she enters the ring and her music fades out. Trixie’s theme music, “Take It Off” by The Donnas, takes its place and the bodacious blond bombshell walks out to the ring. She pats what appears to be a brand new MK bag (loaded with God knows what) and saunters down the walkway that leads to the ring. Trixie pauses in front of the ring and turns her back to Aliyah. She poses for the fans which allows them to take pictures of her and a few perverts in the front row actually take her up on the offer. Aliyah isn’t so amused and a wicked little smile crosses her face. Aliyah backs up and takes off running and launches herself through the ropes.
The suicide dive causes the crowd to pop and when Aliyah springs to her feet she grabs Trixie’s handbag and unzips it. Aliyah delightfully dumps the contents of the bag to the ground. A wrench, a mallet, rope, and other things fall to the ground and Aliyah bends down grabs a pair of brass knux. She slips them on her hand, pulls Trixie up by the hair, and teases knocking out the blond. Trixie pleads with Aliyah to spare her face - aka her money maker - and Aliyah actually obliges. Trixie is in the midst of thanking Aliyah profusely when the more experienced competitor headbutts her foe and sends her to the ground. Trixie grips her forehead and rolls out of the way but Aliyah grabs the Las Vegas native up and tosses her in the ring. Aliyah jumps on the ring apron and scrambles up to the top rope. Trixie sees what is about to happen and she moves out of the way as Aliyah somersaults off the top rope.
With Aliyah finally down, Trixie mounts the Texan and begins hitting Aliyah with some decisive right hands. She helps Aliyah to her feet and sends her across the ring. Aliyah hits the ropes and when she comes back at Trixie, Trixie is able to knock Aliyah off her feet with a clothesline. Trixie drops down, wraps her arms around Aliyah’s neck, and locks her in a sleeperhold. Aliyah tries to fight her way out of the hold and scoot towards the ropes, but Trixie holds on with all her might. Aliyah eventually fades and when Trixie lets go, she's content that Aliyah is done. Trixie stands up and jumps gracefully up in the air. She gets enough elevation that when she lands, she's able to drop her leg across Aliyah’s throat. Trixie gets to her knees and covers Aliyah.
1…
2…
Kickout!
Aliyah Turner gets her shoulder up.
Trixie gives the referee a pouty look, clearly thinking she had the match in the bag. Unfortunately that wasn't the case and Trixie takes her time getting up. She flashes the referee a seductive look and bends down, pretending to tie the lace of her wrestling boot. Trixie’s not getting the attention from the referee she feels she deserves and when he refuses her flirtatious advances, Trixie puts her hands on her hips and huffs.
While this is going on, Aliyah has started to get back up. When she notices that Trixie is trying to charm her way into a victory, she narrows her eyes. Aliyah backs herself into the corner and comes charging at Trixie. She spears her down into the mat and begins punching Trixie over and over. She's determined to prove a point and jerks Trixie up. Aliyah whips Trixie into the corner and puts the boots to the other girl. Trixie ends up down in a sitting position and that allows Aliyah to smash her knee into Trixie’s face. Trixie immediately grabs her nose but right now, there's no blood.
Aliyah grabs Trixie up by the hair and tosses her across the ring. She does it again and afterwards, she begins bouncing Trixie’s face off the mat. With a renewed sense of aggression, Aliyah decides she’s going to try and reopen the wound that Rowan Blackwood had inflicted on Trixie two weeks prior. The minute Aliyah starts digging her nails into Trixie’s forehead, Trixie wakes up so to speak. She begins kicking and thrashing and scrambles away from Aliyah. In the midst of Trixie’s panic attack, she accidentally slams into the referee. He grabs his nuts and falls to the ground.
That poor man.
Trixie’s pretty mouth forms an “O” and she rushes to check on the referee. Aliyah grabs her and almost instantly, Trixie finds herself on the receiving end of the move Aliyah calls “Straight Fire!” She goes for the cover.
There’s no one to count.
Aliyah slams her hands down on the mat in frustration. She knows she should have had a victory. She gets up and goes over to the corner to get the referee back into the game. He shrugs her off and rolls out of the ring, dropping to the floor. Aliyah throws her hands up in frustration.
A few seconds later, referee Henry Washington comes jogging down to the ring. Washington slides into the ring, whom Aliyah is quick to confront. “Where the hell where you?!” she demands. Washington throws up his hands in protest, telling her how he’s not the official in charge and he just came out to make sure the job was done. Aliyah, frustrated to no end now, rolls her eyes and turns around to Trixie who’s beginning to push her way up to her feet. Aliyah marches toward her, grabbing a fist full of her blonde hair to yank her up.
Trixie, though, reaches up and grabs Aliyah’s head before pulling her down while she falls, executing a jaw breaker. Aliyah backs off holding her jaw, which was enough time for Trixie to scoot behind her, reach up between her legs and bring her down with a school girl. Washington drops down to the mat and in very quick succession counts 1.2… but even still Aliyah muscles out before the three. Aliyah looks up, shocked at Washington’s fast count.
That shock turns to anger and rage in the matter of seconds. Aliyah returns to her feet just as Trixie is. Aliyah grabs the blonde hair again -- HEADBUTT! A hard shot from the SCUV vet to Trixie. Trixie doesn’t fall, however. Instead she staggers back, holding her head. She releases her head for just a second to see Aliyah charging toward her before she’s taken down with double knees to the chest, driving her down to the mat. Aliyah doesn’t bother to cover, she’s instantly back to her feet stalking the “Bouncing Bunny”.
Trixie takes her time to return to her feet, and when she does, Aliyah comes in with a flurry of kicks to the legs and mid-section. She aims and fires off a roundhouse kick that could have taken Trixie’s head off and ended her night for sure. However, Trixie manages to duck underneath it. Aliyah spins around only for Trixie to hit a dropkick to Aliyah’s knee, knocking her down to one knee. Trixie is up quickly and calls for her finisher. She sprints toward Aliyah, looking for her “Shining Apprentice” kick… but at the last second, Aliyah ducks that! Trixie ends up hitting the mat hard. Aliyah quickly rolls her onto her back and. Flash pin! Alligator Clutch!
Washington slides into position, eyes on Aliyah and hesitates!
Aliyah fires a death glare to Washington who proceeds with his count, but a very slow one. One…….. Two……. Thr----
Trixie kicked out! Aliyah is up with a scream of fury and spears Henry Washington down! Mounting the official, Aliyah fires off closed right hand fists to the referee repeatedly until Trixie is back up. Trixie grabs her foe by the hair and pulls her off of Washington and back up to her feet. Twisting her around so that now they stand back-to-back, Trixie hits the “Sexy Neckbreaker” which was a split-legged hangman’s neckbreaker. Trixie floats over to the pin, only to remember that Washington is laid out.
Trixie returns to her feet and moves to check on Henry Washington. Aliyah crawls to the corner to rest and catch her breath. The original referee on the outside has regained his composure and slides into the ring, taking over his duties officially. Aliyah gets a second wind and quickly ascends the turnbuckle. She waits patiently for Trixie to turn around, and when that happens -- “GOT ‘EM!”. That flying corkscrew cutter from the top rope on Trixie puts her out. Aliyah covers and the rightful referee counts the one.. Two.. three.
WINNER: Aliyah Turner
EXT. THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS “Absolute Apex. The Wrestling Wizard. The Technical Messiah. The friggin’ Greatest of ALL Time! … Call me whatever you want to call me, but sooner or later the only thing that you will call me is the Ultraviolent Champion -- Tyler Devlin.”
The young man, Tyler Devlin, stood outside of the Ultraviolent Complex surrounded by dozens of wrestling fans that still remain outside.
TYLER DEVLIN “I’ve been a champion for every company I’ve stepped foot in and So-Cal is going to be no different. And if you ask me, it’s about time this piece of garbage company has some actual talent on its roster. .. I may not be in that arena tonight, but I will be at King of California when I accept the challenge laid out by that blonde bimbo, Hailey Banks. That’s a guarantee!”
CUT TO: INT. JULIAN CORTEZ OFFICE - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS Julian Cortez sits at his desk in his office. On the desk top is a cloth drawstring bag with something inside of it. Over off to the side on top of a small table is a sombrero flipped on its top. A knock at the door distracts Julian from the paperwork he was doing. After announcing “come in” the door opened up and in walked Bear Reynolds - a face recognized from his time in RSW in San Francisco. Julian stood to his feet, extending his hand to shake Bear’s.
JULIAN CORTEZ “Bear, thank you for coming in tonight. I got your contract in the fax and everything is a done deal - I just wanted to talk to you face to face as I feel like this conversation shouldn't be over the phone.”
BEAR REYNOLDS “No problem. What conversation?”
JULIAN CORTEZ “When we were in negotiations I mentioned that you would be in line for a Trans-Pacific title match because you never received the shot you earned up state in RSW. I'm a man of my word, Bear, and you will receive your shot at King of California. But I need you to pick your opponents.”
Bear looked perplexed.
BEAR REYNOLDS “I'm not sure I understand. Pick my opponents?”
JULIAN CORTEZ “See unlike you, my daughter Aryanna wants to follow me into the family business. She was here at the Complex a little earlier and put names in that sombrero over there. She’s quite festive over her heritage. And even though I find it absolutely ridiculous, she wants you to pick names out of that sombrero to determine your opponents. So, Bear, if you would …”
Julian motioned over to where the sombrero sat. Bear did as Julian said, moving over to the sombrero. He reached inside pulling the first name.
BEAR REYNOLDS “Trixie.”
JULIAN CORTEZ “Okay. Let's make it interesting. Two more.”
Bear followed again, drawing another name.
BEAR REYNOLDS “Hanalei Brightly.”
The name of his alliance-mate and partner. Julian nodded and watched him pull the last name.
BEAR REYNOLDS “Aliyah Turner.”
Julian ground his teeth together hearing the last name. Obviously one he wasn't happy with. And through clenched teeth he addressed Bear again,
JULIAN CORTEZ “Alright. There you have your three opponents. I suggest you go get used to the environment that is So-Cal Ultraviolent.”
Bear nodded his head and took his leave from the office.
MATCH THREE - Noah Reigner vs. Lexi Sheckler vs. Micaela Peszek All three competitors have taken their place in the ring, all standing in separate corners. Outside of the ring, Eve stood in Noah’s corner with her eyes focused on Micaela and Lexi. Noah smirked as he arrogantly leaned into the corner. Lexi used the ropes to stretch and Micaela bounced on her feet, getting prepared mentally. The bell is sounded and Noah walks out of his corner toward the women. They engaged as well, only to have Noah raise up his hands and back away, exiting the ring and standing out on the apron. The fans erupt in boos, which Noah ignores as he looks down to Eve for approval. Lexi and Micaela both turn to each other as if to ask “what the fuck?”. That lasts for a moment before the ferocity from Micaela kicks in, and she decks the vet with a stiff forearm shot that makes Nikki Bella’s Forearm finisher look like a bitch slap.
Lexi staggered back more than a couple of feet holding her jaw. With gritted teeth, the veteran charged forward and used that MMA background of hers to hit a double leg takedown on Micaela. Lexi’s speed would then be showcased as she quickly transitioned into a mount and, further using her MMA knowledge, began to hammer down on Micaela with elbow strikes. After a couple of hammering blows, Lexi returns to her feet - dragging Micaela up with her by her hair. Afterword, Lexi throws Micaela into the corner where she - once again - uses MMA striking to her advantage, teeing off with punches to the stomach and forearms to the side of the head. Lexi would hit a spinning kick to Micaela’s stomach before sprinting to the far side ropes. Micaela, who held her stomach, walked out of the corner just in time to be met by Lexi and a stiff Yakuza kick! Lexi drops down and rolls Micaela onto her back, looking for a pin attempt - one that Noah promptly broke up.
Noah entered the ring just before the pin attempt, and as it was happening, he pulled Lexi off. Afterword, he would grab her by the hair and back of her shorts, spin around, and toss her over the top rope to the floor. Noah smiled arrogantly and turned around, looking to pick the bones of the fallen Peszek. Instead, though, he was met with a well timed and precisely aimed kick to the stomach from Micaela who had returned to her feet. The impact of the kick and shock of the strike from a seemingly ‘down’ opponent was enough to knock the wind from Noah momentarily. He doubled forward only for Micaela to drop down, wrap her legs around his and took him down with a drop toe hold. Noah’s throat crashed onto the middle rope in front of him, but before he could react and move off of the rope - Micaela was back up, and pushing her weight down on his back - choking him against the rope.
On the outside of the ring, Lexi had returned to her feet. She walked around the ring where Noah was being choked, and climbed onto the apron. She took off, running the length of the apron and hitting Noah with a hard knee to the side of the head. After the impact, Micaela let go of Noah and he fell back into the ring, holding his throat as he rolled away. Micaela quickly followed up, hitting Lexi with a strike that knocked her off of the apron again. Micaela moved out onto the apron turned with her back to Lexi and… moonsault! Lexi catches Micaela’s body and falls to the floor underneath her. Micaela is quickly back up to her feet. She turns around, only to stop suddenly when she notices Eve standing in front of her. Eve just smirks, which causes Micaela to reach back and slap Eve across the face! That was probably for sticking her nose into personal matters earlier in the week.
Lexi had rolled away and stands up to join in before Eve moves to strike Micaela. Two on one on Eve now, with Micaela and Lexi working together. Neither of them, though, notice Noah inside of the ring. Noah’s picked himself up, watched what was going on and sprinted to the far ropes. After bouncing off, he ran back and in a feat of athleticism, Noah lept over the top rope with no hands - executing a beautiful Topé con Hilo! A move he calls, “Danger, Danger!” and for appropriate reasons. He crashed onto all three females on the outside of the ring, taking all of them out! The fans have jumped to her feet and, despite the hatred toward him, they all “OOOHHHH!” at the maneuver done. Now all three competitors lay out on the outside of the ring, no one moving at the current time.
Finally they all begin to stir. Eve pulls herself up first, then tends to Noah whom she helps up. Noah reenters the ring, just as Lexi is returning to her feet. Lexi slips into the ring unnoticed to Eve. Eve turns around just in time to see Lexi in the ring with Noah. Eve shouts up at Noah to get up and watch out.
-- OUTSIDE OF THE RING -- Micaela is up to her feet now and turns her attention to Eve. She pushes Eve against the steel turnbuckle, sending Noah’s muscle crashing hard. Eve rests against the post, her shoulder braced against the post - so she couldn’t move out of the way to avoid Micaela hitting her “P.C.S. Kick” to Eve’s head. Eve’s head hit the post hard with Micaela’s boot on the other side. Eve slumps to the floor and Micaela begins to climb up onto the apron...when she stopped. The two men whom have been plaguing her matches and distracting her for weeks have finally made their way over the railing.
These men were Jax and Gunnar. Gunnar reached up, grabbing the back of Micaela’s tights and pulling her down to the floor. Micaela lands on her feet, back to Gunnar and facing Jax. Her jaw drops, shocked they would actually get involved. Jax laughs in Micaela’s face before Gunnar lifts her up and drives her down to the floor with a sickening German Suplex. Gunnar mounts Micaela, holding her down while Jax bends forward and shouts obscenities in her face. That was when former King of California tournament winner from Twenty-Fourteen, Riley Calix, sprinted to ringside. Riley runs in and hits Jax with a hard right hand, followed by a quick series that backs the bigger man away. Gunnar stepped off of Micaela and turned to Riley to get kicked in the stomach and thrown into the railing.
Gunnar and Jax regroup and stand next to one another. Riley kneels down next to Micaela, but never takes his eyes off of the two men in front of him. Before anything could happen, the three SCUV security come out. Alix stands between the groups while Lindsay and Elias approach Jax and Gunnar to escort them out of the building. -- INSIDE OF THE RING -- Back inside of the ring during all of that, Lexi and Noah start to battle it out. Exchanging lefts and rights. Noah’s striking power coupled with Lexi losing stamina enable Noah to land more shots in succession. He backs Lexi up to the ropes before grabbing her wrist and whipping her across the ring. Noah steps up and bends forward prematurely. Lexi comes back on the rebound and notices this, so she stops and delivers one hell of a kick to Noah’s chest. He snaps up, letting out a yell of pain before Lexi kicks him in the stomach to double him over again. Stepping around his neck, she wraps her arms around his waist - no doubt setting up for the “Sturn Und Drang”.
She jumped up, looking to flip herself and Noah in mid-air. Unfortunately for her, though, Noah kept his feet planted. All she did was jump up and when Noah snapped up to a vertical base, he held her elevated upside down, belly-to-back position. In a flash, he whipped her forward and slammed her down with an Alabama slam. A collective “ooh” from the crowd was heard after. Noah grabbed her hair, picked her up and lifted her onto his shoulders in an Electric Chair position. He slips his arm in front of him from holding her leg, reaches up to grab her neck and bend her forward. With a flash of a smile to the hard camera, he drove her head into the mat with his “D.B.R.” (Death By Reigner) Electric Chair Driver. He stays in his position, arms holding her legs with her shoulders pinned down.
One.. Two.. Three
WINNER: Noah Reigner
INT BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS Riley Calix helped Micaela Peszek to the backstage area after the scene during the triple threat was broken up. The match just finished and you could still hear the music of the winner playing over the sound system. Riley has Micaela sitting on top of a table that was set up. The medical team has been dispatched and while they are on their way, Riley has found an ice pack for Micaela to hold on her head from taking that wicked German Suplex from Gunnar.
(O.S.) “Pinche Cabron!”
Riley turned to look over his shoulder, seeing Julian Cortez marching in his direction. Not only what he just said, but the look on his face gives us a clear indication that he’s not entirely happy about what just happened. Julian stops in front of them, his eyes focused solely on Riley.
JULIAN CORTEZ “¿Qué carajo crees que estás haciendo? I honor the contract that Gage Landon had in place for you, because you’re supposed to be injured, but here you are - interrupting and getting involved in a match.”
RILEY CALIX “I wouldn’t have interrupted if your security knew how to keep non-contracted people in the crowd where they belong!”
JULIAN CORTEZ “You’re talking about Gunnar? He and I have been in negotiations for quite some time, amigo. But - like you - he’s supposed to be injured.”
RILEY CALIX “I don’t care if you’ve been in talks with him, Julian. They’ve been a constant source of Micaela losing and you know it. They’ve interfered in every match, and this week they took it too far. I wasn’t going to stand aside and let…”
JULIAN CORTEZ “¡Suficiente! I don’t care, Riley. You, Micaela, Jax, Gunnar - all of you pendejos have gotten on my last nerve. So I’m going to settle this. You want to protect this puta and stick your nose in where it doesn’t belong? Then you can look forward to meeting Gunnar in the ring soon. I know you already know him well.”
Riley’s eyes narrow and he snarls, but he doesn’t say a word. He watched as Julian turned to finally face Micaela.
JULIAN CORTEZ “And you. You and Trixie keep going at one another, huh? Fine. I'll give you a rematch against her. After King of California, you versus Trixie.”
Julian’s eyes darted back and forth between the two.
JULIAN CORTEZ “Now you two get the hell out of my arena.”
Julian turned and walked away, leaving Riley and Micaela.
CUT TO: INT. BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS Charity Olson is backstage with Beckham Hendricks. The look on Beckham’s face isn't a happy one. In fact, he looks a little upset. Charity’s expression is also a little more animated than usual.
CHARITY OLSON “I'm tired of repeating myself, Beckham. This conversation is going nowhere. You aren't going to change my mind. After tonight, I'm done here. This place just isn't for me. If you want to stay, that's your prerogative. But come tomorrow morning, I'm going to be on a plane with my sister and her husband, and I'm going to Guatemala. I've wanted to do this mission trip for awhile. You know this.”
BECKHAM HENDRICKS “This place needs our help though.”
His voice trails off because Beckham knows that this is a losing battle. Charity folds her arms across her chest.
CHARITY OLSON “I've already spoken with Mr. Cortez. He has agreed to let me out of my contractual obligations as long as I appear in the match tonight.”
BECKHAM HENDRICKS “So it’s settled then.”
Charity nods her head. Beckham opens his arms and Charity steps into his embrace.
BECKHAM HENDRICKS “You know I love you right?”
CHARITY OLSON “And I love you too. If you want to stay, that's your right. I won't try and make you come with me. But this life isn't for me. If you feel that God needs you to stay here, then stay. Fulfill His work. I'll be faithful to you. You're my person.”
BECKHAM HENDRICKS “I don't think I'm prepared to make a decision right now about what I want to do. But no matter what, I'll be faithful to you too.”
Charity looks up at him and smiles. She steps back and takes his hand, and looks towards the entrance to the ring area.
CHARITY OLSON “Lets go and get this over with then.”
MATCH FOUR - Larkin Kennedy vs. Charity Olson vs. Beckham Hendricks The next match was going to be a mess and the three people standing inside the ring know this. Larkin Kennedy is sporting an expert poker face. She grabs the ropes, stretches out, and basically ignores the referee as he attempts to explain the rules of a triple threat match to them. There’s unmistakable fire in her eyes. Beckham Hendricks appears to be repeating everything the referee says to his beloved girlfriend Charity Olson, making sure she understands everything that is about to happen. For whatever reason, Charity seems to be ignoring Beckham and focusing on the person who’s actually in charge of the match. It’s not a secret that things haven’t exactly worked out for the Beckham and Charity since joining SCUV. Beckham’s bullshit about saving the company had only gotten him and his girlfriend attacked by the enigmatic Jack Owyns. Once the introductions are made and the bell has rung, Beckham instructs Charity to stand in the corner and focuses on Larkin.
There’s no telling how many times the two of them have locked up over the years but they seem very familiar with each other’s styles. Larkin attempts to gain the advantage over her boyfriend’s brother but Beckham muscles her back against the ropes. They exchange positions a few times before Larkin is able slip out of a headlock and lock her arms around Beckham’s waist. She suplexes him down to the ground and wraps him in a front facelock. Charity takes a tentative step forward to try and help out Beckham, but the look Larkin shoots her stops Charity in her tracks. The very small distraction allows Beckham to get out of the facelock, grab Larkin, and take her down with a gut wrench suplex.
Charity takes another step towards the action, but this time it’s Beckham who gives her a glare. In his defense, it’s a much more gentle glare than Larkin’s.
Beckham jerks Larkin up and the two begin slugging it out. Larkin nails Beckham in the face with several elbows and goes to whip him into the corner. Beckham plants his feet and reverses it which sends Larkin into the corner. She comes back at Beckham with a flying heel kick, which he manages to duck. Larkin springs back to her feet but Beckham is able to catch her with a dropkick. He goes to pull Larkin up but Charity stops him. While they have a discussion about sportsmanship, Larkin gets up and jumps on Beckham’s back. She wraps her arms around his neck because her plan is to choke him out.
Charity pleads with Larkin to stop but of course she refuses. Luckily, Beckham is able to flip Larkin off his back and over his head, and takes a few precious seconds to gather some air back into his lungs. Larkin isn’t easy to keep down but for some stupid reason, Charity decides she wants to help Larkin back to her feet. Larkin is not receptive whatsoever to the help and shoves Charity back. All this does is annoy Beckham because the look on Charity’s face is one of hurt and confusion.
As predicted, this sham of a match is a total mess.
Beckham chooses to go and soothe Charity’s ego instead of going after Larkin. This is a mistake because once Larkin gets to her feet again she stalks towards both of them. She grabs both of them by the hair and slams Beckham’s forehead into Charity’s. The reopens Beckham’s injuries from previous weeks and he starts bleeding. Charity lets out a cry but Larkin knocks both members of the couple down with a drop kick. It’s almost too easy to go for Charity, and against her better judgement, Larkin boots the petite brunette from the ring. Larkin zeros in on Beckham’s previous injuries and sits down on his chest. The effectively pins his shoulders to the mat but Larkin doesn’t pay attention to that. Instead, she digs her knuckles into Beckham’s forehead to open that wound further.
The referee is down to count the pin anyway.
1…
2…
Beckham gets the shoulder up!
Larkin looks a bit confused and when she notices what is happening, she jabs her forearm into Beckham’s throat. Between the blood loss and the lack of air, Beckham is a bit disorientated. He manages to kick out of two more pinning attempts before he completely fades. Charity is watching and sees that her boyfriend is in trouble. Perhaps it’s God that compels her to get back into the ring, or maybe it’s the devil. Who fucking knows? But she throws herself into Larkin with all her might and knocks the more physical girl almost out of the ring.
Larkin seems a bit shocked at Charity’s unnecessary burst of strength and she narrows her eyes. Charity’s back is turned and she’s trying to wipe the blood from Beckham’s face and console him.
Larkin pushes herself up to her feet and has every intention of charging to Charity, but instead she’s tripped up by a hand reaching into the ring. The hand belonged to...a masked man. He wore a white and black mask, half and half with accents in the opposite color on either side. Larkin’s momentum before the trip causes her to face plant. The masked wrestler - known to wrestling faithful as Angel Asesino - climbs onto the apron and then up to the top rope. Larkin, holding her jaw, works her way back up. She looks in the direction of where Angel was on the outside to find no one. Lifting her head she watches as the man known as the Angel Assassin leap from the top turnbuckle. He comes down, wrapping his legs around her head and whipping her down with a hurricanrana.
Angel quickly flows up to his feet and turns back to face Larkin. She works her way back up to her feet and rests in the corner - which was a mistake. Angel sprints toward her and hits her with a devastating cornered dropkick - a signature move of his. Larkin’s body slumps to the mat, which Angel then drags to the center of the ring. He wraps her left arm around his leg before reaching out and grabbing her right arm. Angel stood up fully, pulling Larkin’s right arm up and straight back in a hammerlock - armbar combination. This is exactly how Larkin’s boyfriend broke Angel’s arm over a year ago.
Larkin was in instant pain as Angel pulled her right arm back, and you could very clearly hear her screams. Angel had every intention of dropping back, breaking that right arm in a sickening way, and if it wasn’t for Beckham - he would have. Instead, though, Beckham had returned to his feet and charged to Angel, nearly taking his head off with running Yakuza kick to the back of his head. Angel rolled out of the ring, holding the back of his head. Beckham wasn’t going to allow his brother’s girlfriend to be mercilessly attacked by Angel. He stood by the ropes, eyes on Angel. Charity stood at his side, not sure what to do or say. Larkin began to stir on the mat.
Larkin picks herself up and notices the situation in front of her. Without a moments hesitation, she moves behind Beckham, grabs him in a russian legsweep position before pushing forward and driving Beckham face-first into the mat with her signature “GIRLBOSS”! In a flash, she turns Beckham over onto his back and covers him. Larkin looks up at Charity who is frozen in shock at what Larkin just did.
One.. Two.. Three.
WINNER: Larkin Kennedy
Larkin slips out of the ring following the pinfall. By now Angel Asesino has disappeared just as quickly as he appeared. Larkin walks to the backstage area, not even bothering to look back as Charity drops to her knees and consoles Beckham, who sat up and was clearly upset with how things ended for him tonight.
INT. BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINIOUS For the second show in a row, an angry woman is storming around backstage looking for referee Henry Washington. Aliyah Turner is furious and rightfully so. Henry nearly screwed her out of a victory against Trixie earlier in the evening. She checks the catering area first and he’s nowhere to be found. Raking her fingers through her hair and taking a moment to think, a knowing smile crosses Aliyah’s face. She heads for the makeshift office the SCUV security staff hangs out in. She bangs open the door but Lindsay Pierce, Alix Stavros, and Elias Barnes are nowhere to be found. Aliyah doesn't let that deter her though. She heads right for the desk and looks under it.
ALIYAH TURNER “I knew it!”
There's some banging under the desk, as well as a few muffled curses, and then a scream as Aliyah drags Henry Washington out from underneath the desk by the collar of his shirt.
HENRY WASHINGTON “Please don't hurt me! I get that you're probably on your period or something but I didn't do anything I swear!”
His ridiculous chauvinistic remark pissed Aliyah off and she grabs him by the balls. The referee starts shrieking but Aliyah only grips them tighter.
ALIYAH TURNER “You have about thirty seconds to tell me why you decided to screw with my match tonight or I'll show what a true fit of PMS rage looks like.”
She's not joking.
HENRY WASHINGTON (through gritted teeth) “It was Cortez! He told me to keep an eye on you because you're a troublemaker like Larkin Kennedy!”
Aliyah lets go of Henry’s dick. He slumps to the ground, holding his nuts, and curls up into a little ball. She glances down at the pathetic excuse for a man and just shakes her head, but there's anger in her eyes.
ALIYAH TURNER “I knew it.”
CUT TO: INT. BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINIOUS Larkin Kennedy and her assistant Carly Anderson are walking down the corridor. Even though Larkin had taken care of business earlier in the evening and survived a horribly personal attack at the hands of Angel Asesino, the cosmetics mogul looks troubled.
LARKIN KENNEDY “Something just doesn't add up, Carly. Cortez pitted me against the only two idiots I had any ties with here, and it was a shitshow just like I fucking predicted. As far as I know, they're fucking gone forever doing work for a god that doesn't exist. Angel Asesino shows up after who fucking knows how long in the same company his bitter rival’s girlfriend is working for.”
CARLY ANDERSON “Another Julian Cortez run company.”
LARKIN KENNEDY “That fucking piece of shit. I knew it. I swear I'll fucking kill him Carly. If this man wants a goddamn war, I will give him one.”
VOICE (O.S.) “Count me in.”
Aliyah Turner has joined the two women in the corridor and she folds her arms across her chest. Larkin and Carly exchange smirks.
CUT TO: INT. BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS Things might not have gone her way today against Aliyah Turner earlier, but Trixie is all smiles as she heads towards the office belonging to Julian Cortez. She plans to thank him personally for basically giving Micaela Peszek a rematch against her sometime after the King of California finals. Before she can step into his office, Gunnar Erikssen comes barging out and collides with Trixie, nearly knocking her over.
TRIXIE “Geeze.”
When Gunnar looks down at her, Trixie’s perfect lips curl into a little smirk. She touches her hand to his chest.
TRIXIE “I saw what you did to Micaela earlier today. It couldn't have happened to a nicer person. I'll make to finish the job after I win the Trans-Pacific title at the King of California finals.”
GUNNAR ERIKSSEN “That's all fine and good, babe. I hope you do win the Trans-Pacific title. Someone needs to bring some prestige to that belt.”
TRIXIE “What do you mean by that?”
GUNNAR ERIKSSEN “Just that some of the past champions have been shit. I mean, Zander Blackwood did hold that belt.”
Before Trixie can reply, Gunnar gives her a wink and walks off. Trixie watches him go and places her finger against her lips.
TRIXIE “Now wouldn't that be amazing if Hanalei or me could walk away with that.”
MATCH FIVE - Sydney Hilton vs. Bobby Lee The newcomer stands across the ring from one of the finalists in the King of California tournament. The San Diego fans chant “Syd-Ney! Syd-Ney!” to which he acknowledges by flashing a smile into the crowd. Kensington on the outside watches as Sydney plays to the crowd - then looks over to Lee who’s ready to strike. Before she could warn Sydney whose head is turned away, Lee sprinted across the ring and hit a hard dropkick right to Hilton’s chest, pushing him off of his feet and into the corner! Lee hit the mat but was immediately back up to his feet and into the corner. Hilton had pulled himself up to his feet too, but was ill-prepared for the assault of chops and kicks that came from the new comer to So-Cal. The chops give way to more and more kicks, and he finishes off by jumping onto the middle rope and springboarding up to hit an enzuigiri. Hilton staggered out of the corner and fell to a knee in the middle of the ring. Lee is up to his feet and see’s the position Hilton has found himself in. He sprints to the ropes and comes back to hit a spike hurricanrana to the kneeling Hilton. Hilton’s head plants into the mat and Lee is quick to cover.. one.. two..
Kickout from Hilton. Lee sits up on his knees, looking to the referee as if to ask ‘are you sure?’. Lee wanted to end this one quickly, it seemed, didn’t want to give Hilton the time to mount an offense. Lee returned to his feet which is when he bent down and grabbed Hilton by his dyed blonde hair. Hilton, though, delivered a stiff elbow to Lee’s stomach, immediately followed by another. Lee let go of Hilton’s hair and doubled over to hold his stomach. Hilton sprung up to his feet, turned to face Lee, and hit a leaping tornado DDT from outta’ nowhere! That’s a move that he generally keeps in his arsenal until much later in the match, but he needed to slow down Lee’s pace immediately or it wouldn’t end well for him. Hilton kipped up to his feet in an instant, and waited for Lee to return to his feet. What he got, though, was a mirrored kip up from Lee. The fans drew in a breath with an “OOHH” as both showed their athleticism.
They both circle the ring now, not taking their eyes off of each other. They both move to the middle of the ring and lock up. Hilton uses his strength advantage to push Lee against the ropes. Given the environment, the referee doesn’t bother to ask for a break – but Hilton does anyway. He allows a clean break, only for Lee to reach out and open-palm slap the cheek of Hilton. Hilton sees red and lunges at Lee, whose speed is used to his advantage. Lee dodges out of the way, dancing around Hilton. Hilton turns around and gets blasted with multiple right hand jabs – immediately followed by a stiff spinning backfist ….. attempt. Hilton ducks under that strike, sending Lee spinning around wildly. He turns back to face Hilton and is caught with a jawbreaker. Lee staggers back, Hilton returns to his feet and hits a beeeeaaauutiful dropkick. And he knows this because he pops up to his feet and screams “THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!”.
Hilton drops down to cover Lee, but stops when he notices that Rowan and Zander Blackwood have made their way to ringside. The Blackwood creed have surrounded Kensington on the outside and, of course, this draws Hilton’s attention. Hilton stands up and points down at Rowan, yelling at her to back off. Rowan smiles evily and complies, circling the ring with Zander. By now Lee was using the ropes, beginning to pull himself up to his feet. Hilton grabs Lee’s short hair and drags him the rest of the way up and onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry position. Hilton turns around in the middle of the ring, no doubt looking for that Death Valley Driver that he’s been known to use. But he wouldn’t find it.
Instead, that time that Hilton was distracted gave Lee enough time to gather his thoughts and recollect himself, so he was able to kick himself loose and landed on the mat behind Hilton. Before Hilton could react, Lee moved to Hilton. He reached out, folding Hilton’s leg backward before wrapping his arms around his waist, hoisting him up and bringing him down with a shin breaker – that folded leg crashing onto Lee’s knee. Lee immediately followed up with a side suplex from this position, bridging into a pin. One… Two…
Kickout from Hilton.
Lee shot up to argue that with the referee, but it didn’t last long before Lee turned back to his opponent. Lee dragged his thumb across his throat, signaling for the end of the match. He marched to where Hilton was inching toward the ropes in order to pull himself up. Lee grabbed him by the hair on the back of his head, pulling him up to his feet. Once there, Lee lifted him onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry position before walking to mid-ring. He spun around, making sure everyone in the Ultraviolent Complex saw. Lee tossed Hilton up, looking to finish with his ‘Pavement Massacre’.
However Hilton twisted in the air and landed on his feet behind Lee, much like Lee did previously. But before Lee could turn around Hilton connects with a German Suplex!... Roll through… Dragon Suplex!... Roll through… Straightjacket suplex and bridge to pin. This combination is called “The Black Parade”.
One.. Two.. Three
WINNER: Sydney Hilton
Sydney shoots to his feet, arms raised in victory as Kensington clapped at ringside for him. Zander and Rowan, though, have a different plan. Rowan circled the ring and blasted Kensington in the side of the head with a forearm shot. Sydney’s celebration ended abruptly when he noticed this, but before he could do anything, Zander entered the ring with a steel chair which he used to mercilessly slam into the back of Sydney’s head! Sydney’s body slumps forward and then Zander dropped the chair. Rowan entered the ring as Zander picked Sydney up. Rowan approached and then hit Sydney with her “Crash and Burn” snapmare driver onto the steel chair that Zander placed there.
EXT. PARKING LOT AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS Charity Olson is walking out of the Ultraviolent Complex for the last time. Having said a private goodbye with Beckham just minutes ago, a single tear slides down her face. Once again, she had to wipe blood from her boyfriend’s face after a wrestling match and it just confirmed the fact this wasn’t for her. For whatever reason, she turns around to look at the building one last time before getting into the Uber that is waiting for her.
VOICE (O.S) “CHARITY! WAIT!”
Beckham Hendricks rushes into the scene, bags in hand. Charity gives him a confused look.
CHARITY OLSON “Beckham, wha-?”
Beckham grabs Charity’s face and kisses her right as the rain starts to fall. She pulls away and takes a step back.
BECKHAM HENDRICKS “I’m coming with you.”
Her face lights up.
CHARITY OLSON “Seriously?!”
Beckham nods and takes her hand.
BECKHAM HENDRICKS “Some things are just more important than wrestling. God brought me to you and that’s exactly where I want to be.”
Tears filled Charity eyes. Beckham’s words were music to her ears. Together, the two of them head for the Uber, their careers in SoCal Ultraviolent done.
For now.
CUT TO: INT. LOCKERROOM AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS Ashtyn Rave finishes wrapping black tape around her wrists and reaches for the necklace around her neck. Right as she's about to unscrew the top of the necklace, the door opens and Rowan Blackwood walks in. Upon seeing the redhead, Ashtyn sighs.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “I enjoyed hurting Sydney earlier tonight. I sure hope you were watching.”
Rowan is so proud of herself.
ASHTYN RAVE “I wasn't and honestly, I don't give a fuck.”
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “You should because Zander and I will be at ringside for your match too. I have unfinished business my little bird and of course, you'll be in the ring with me at K-O-C.”
Rowan reaches out to touch a strand of Ashtyn’s hair but Ashtyn slaps her hand away. Rowan looks hurt.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “You shouldn't have done that.”
Rowan flashes a quick smirk before turning on her heels and walking toward the exit.
ROWAN BLACKWOOD “You're going to pay dearly, little bird.”
And she disappeared out of the doorway.
CUT TO: INT BACKSTAGE AREA - THE ULTRAVIOLENT COMPLEX - CONTINUOUS Hanalei Brightly has left the secluded area she used to warm up and mentally prepare for the match coming up. She walks through the “backstage” area of the Ultraviolent Complex, making her way toward the ringside area. However, she slows down when she sees a familiar face hanging out by the entrance. She approaches him and stops. And for the first time since before RSW closed in San Francisco, “The Revolution” stands face to face. Hanalei Brightly and Bear Reynolds.
HANALEI BRIGHTLY “Bear. It's good to see you here.”
BEAR REYNOLDS “Yeah it's been, what, a few months now hasn't it?”
Hanalei nodded her head. Her theme music began playing over the sound system.
BEAR REYNOLDS “Just wanted to say good luck out there tonight.”
HANALEI BRIGHTLY “Thanks.”
She said, simply. With a friendly pat on his shoulder, she walked by him and out to the entrance way.
MAIN EVENT - Ashtyn Rave vs. Hanalei Brightly Despite their confrontation earlier in the evening, Ashtyn Rave paid no attention to Rowan Blackwood who had sat herself at ringside on Zander’s lap before the ring entrances had started. Hanalei Brightly is a little more weary. Rowan blows her blond foe from RSW a kiss and waves, before wrapping her arms around Zander’s neck and getting comfortable. The referee calls for the bell and Ashtyn wastes no time getting started. She drives Hanalei into the corner and begins driving her shoulder into Hanalei’s midsection until the other girl is gasping for breath. She drives her knee into Hanalei’s jaw a few times before grabbing two handfuls of blond hair and slinging Hanalei across the ring. Ashtyn climbs to the top rope and flies off with every intention of connecting with her signature move “A Star Is Born.” Hanalei sees what’s about to happen and springs up. She freaking catches Ashtyn in mid-air and drops her with an RKO!
What?!?!?!?!
On the outside, both Rowan and Zander exchange looks. Both seem shocked. Hanalei’s an experimental type of competitor and quickly goes for a cover.
1…
2…
Ashtyn BARELY gets her shoulder up before the three.
It’s an absolute nightmare start for the KoC finalist and Hanalei begins putting the boots to the Charleston native. Ashtyn has no defense at the moment and finds herself on the receiving end of a backbreaker/neckbreaker combination. After pulling Ashtyn up by her green locks, Hanalei begins unleashing a series of vicious chops to Ashtyn’s pale chest. Ashtyn is in a lot of trouble and when her back slams into the turnbuckle, she slumps into a sitting position. Hanalei rushes the corner and Ashtyn eats a dropkick to the face. Hanalei gets to her feet and grabs Ashtyn once again, dragging her to the center of the ring. She positions herself and Ashtyn into the set-up for the “Wake Up Call”.
Rowan gets out of Zander’s lap and strolls towards the ring. She gets Hanalei’s attention and of course Hanalei drops Ashtyn. Rowan acts like she is about to climb onto the ring apron and that prompts Hanalei to take off and throw herself through the ropes. Rowan dodges the suicide dive attempt and Hanalei nearly crashes head first into the steel barricades. She does land hard on her shoulder though and Rowan retrieves a kendo stick from underneath the ring. She twirls it between her fingers as she looms over Hanalei, unaware that Ashtyn has stirred and slowly made her way to the ropes. Zander alerts Rowan to what’s going on and Rowan whirls around, swinging her kendo stick. Ashtyn ducks the shot and flips over the top rope, connecting with Rowan and sending the beautiful redhead down.
Zander’s first instinct is rush to his wife’s defense but Ashtyn picks up the kendo stick and points it right at him. The cameras don’t pick up the exchange of words between the two but it’s perfectly clear that Rowan is not Ashtyn’s target right now. She walks over to where Hanalei is still clutching that shoulder and she begins beating it with the kendo stick. Hanalei screams in pain and those cries are music to Ashtyn’s ears. She slams the kendo stick into Hanalei’s shoulder one more time and drops it to the ground. She grabs Hanalei up by the hair and the back of the tights and rams her shoulder first into the ring post. Hanalei falls to the ground clutching her injured limb and Ashtyn pushes her hair out of her face. Wanting to do more damage to that shoulder, Ashtyn reaches under the ring and pulls out a mallet.
The same mallet hammer that was dumped from Trixie’s MK bag earlier.
Ashtyn picks up the mallet and gently taps it against her own palm. It would be perfect. She turns back towards Hanalei and looks to take the other girl out of action. Before she can hit Hanalei with the mallet, the crowd begins to turn their attention towards the curtains. Trixie has made her way out and she has a microphone in her hands.
TRIXIE “Excuse me!”
Ashtyn whips her head around as Trixie walks towards the ring. Rowan and Zander are also glaring at the blond.
TRIXIE “So sorry for interrupting, ASHTYN! I need that hammer thing back. I have the ACE Hardware receipt showing where I bought it earlier this week and since you were so rude to me on social media, I’m totally not letting you use it on Hana.”
Trixie stops in front of Ashtyn and holds out her hand for the mallet. Ashtyn looks at Trixie like she has truly lost her mind. Instead of handing the girl the mallet, Ashtyn slams her fist into Trixie’s face. Trixie stumbles back, checks for blood, and narrows her eyes. Before she can attack Ashtyn, Aliyah Turner comes running from the back and tackles Trixie from behind. The two women begin fighting around the ring, nearly knocking into Rowan and Zander who are now on their feet. Rowan manages to get a few shots in but Bear Reynolds rushes down next. He takes Aliyah Turner out before anything else can happen. He points at Rowan and Zander, warns them to back off, and Aliyah catches Bear with a dropkick off the steel ring steps!
Rowan laughs at Bear’s bad luck but all the chaos has broken down the main event. SCUV’s security staff has come to the ring to break up the fight between three of the four competitors for the Trans-Pacific Championship.
Hanalei has actually gotten back in the ring during all of this but she is in a lot of pain with that shoulder. Ashtyn goes to join her, but Rowan decides she’s had enough. She grabs Ashtyn by the ankle and jerks her back down to the ground. Ashtyn spins around and gets right in Rowan’s face. Rowan just smiles while Ashtyn spreads her arms, yelling “fucking do something!”. All the while, Hanalei has gotten up to her feet and noticed this on the outside. She sprints to the far ropes, bounces off and comes back with a sliding dropkick out of the ring - hitting Ashtyn in the back, pushing her into Rowan. Ashtyn and Rowan both hit the floor hard with Hanalei standing over them.
Hanalei doesn’t waste any time, she bends over and lifts Ashtyn up and rolls her into the ring. Rowan, though, stands up on her own and before Hanalei could enter the ring, Rowan pushes Hanalei into the ring post - that shoulder again hitting the steel hard. Zander had went and fetched the kendo stick from earlier and hands it to Rowan, who slides into the ring. Ashtyn has lifted herself off of the mat just as Rowan stood up. Rowan took a running charge and BAM! Hits Ashtyn directly in the stomach with a baseball style swing with the kendo stick while on the run.
Ashtyn doubles forward and drops to her knees, holding her stomach in pain. Rowan circles, skipping, around Ashtyn while twirling the kendo stick. She stops and raises it high over her head, with every intention of bringing it down hard on Ashtyn’s back. Instead, though, Sydney Hilton sprints down to join the fray. He passes the trio of Trans-Pacific contenders still fighting even despite securities efforts - and slides into the ring. He is immediately up to his feet and moves behind Rowan. Zander is up on the apron now shouting at Rowan to turn around, and when she does? Sydney spears her down, mounts her and starts to rain down rapid fire punches to the ‘Countess of Carnage’. Zander enters the ring, Sydney notices, and he springs up to his feet and blasts the big man with a superkick!
Ashtyn has now picked up the kendo stick and swings, hitting Sydney in the head! Sydney his the mat hard, and Ashtyn just drops the kendo stick down on his chest. She knows she needs to focus now.
Hanalei has returned inside of the ring, her shoulder absolutely killing her now. Ashtyn turns around to see that Hanalei has re-entered the ring. With an angry yell, she sprints towards the Revolutionist, looking for a lariat. Hanalei ducks underneath that attempt, and quickly hooks her arms before turning herself and Ashtyn around. Hanalei was looking to give Ashtyn her “Wake Up Call”, but Ashtyn slipped her arms out from Hanalei’s and pushed her away. Hanalei turned around and faced Ashtyn. Ashtyn quickly kicked Hanalei in the stomach, sets her up for...and successfully hits the “Fuck You” Styles Clash! Ashtyn rolls Hanalei over into a pinning situation.
One.. Two.. Three.
WINNER: Ashtyn Rave
Ashtyn returns to her feet, only to be speared THROUGH the ropes by Rowan! The two crash hard on the outside of the ring. Sydney had rolled out of the ring after that kendo stick shot - but now has gotten back up to his feet. He checked his forehead for blood. Nothing. He circles the ring and lifts up Rowan, tossing her hard into the security railing. Next he turns his attention to Ashtyn, whom he also lifts to her feet. Ashtyn, though, lifts her leg up and hits Sydney in the balls!
Rowan pushes herself off of the railing and moves to Ashtyn, where they begin to trade rights and lefts. Sydney eventually works his way back up to his feet - only to get decked by BOTH girls!
Now security runs down to separate THIS brawl. Alix and Elias each take a girl and pull them away. Lindsay stands over Sydney, not allowing him up. And this is how Asylum III ends.
