Tanja Devereaux, the Bayou Witch, was seen sitting at the desk of her hotel room with two decks of Tarot cards with two different 3 card spreads beside each deck. The Cajun rarely did readings for her opponents leading up to matches but she heard the spirits that she followed had been whispering to her quite loudly. She sensed that they were trying to tell her something, which caused her to pull out the decks for the readings. Marcus, Tanja’s camera operator, focused to the reading on Tanja’s left as she began explaining the reading. She pointed to the first card as she began speaking.
“The past: The 4 of Pentacles. Whenever someone would see a pentacles card during a reading, they would think of something financial related but this card means something different.” Tanja paused. “In this case, the card is revealing that Damon has stubbornly been hanging on to his pride, despite the current situation.” Tanja sighed quietly. “If he is to return to the glory that he once had and knew, he must learn to swallow his pride and accept his fate or things may not look good for him.”
She paused for a moment as she motioned to the middle card that appeared in Damon’s reading.
“The present: The 5 of Wands. Damon is going through a very combative situation. In this case, it is not a financial situation but more of the situation that Damon must deal with as of late in this business. He has a lot on his plate not just in So-Cal Violent but in another place.” Tanja smirked. “He must learn to adapt in more than one way in order for him to deal with the new competition or he may suffer some degree of hardship for a period of time.”
The Cajun sighed quietly as she allowed the information of the first 2 cards sink into her mind before heading to the final card for Damon.
“The future: Death. Contrary to popular belief, the death card does not mean physical death.” Tanja paused. “It usually represents a mental or physical change. In this case, it may lead to some changes to Damon. He may realize that his pride leading him down a destructive path and he will need to finally lead go of that pride in order to better himself in the future.”
She allowed the information that she had given in Damon’s reading sink in while she focused herself onto the cards for Madison’s reading. Marcus changed his position behind his boss from her left to her right. Tanja motioned to the card closest to her in the reading as she started to speak.
“The past: The Tower. Despite the façade that Madison has shown for the world, there has been some major situations that have had shaken her to her foundation.” Tanja frowned. “She may not like to reveal it to the world as it is very personal for her to reveal but it is something that has affected her deeply. Whatever the situation, she will need to find a way to clear her mind in order to remain focused on her wrestling career or it may lead to restrictions to her future development here in So-Cal Violent.”
Tanja flashed a smirk as she heads to the middle card.
“The present: The 10 of swords. This card can be a difficult card for some to comprehend whenever it appears in a reading but it sometimes it can be positive.” Tanja paused. “I sense that there are some trials that Madison is going through recently and it has not all been good for her.” Tanja sighed quietly. “Whatever the situation that Madison is dealing with, it is time for her to cut ties with it. It will best for her to leave any reminder of that in her life as it will help her clear her mind of any problems that it would cause in the end.”
The smirk remained as she motioned to the final card.
“The future: Judgement. Madison will receive a wake-call, subtly or obvious, and she will need decide how she will deal with the maturing process that is asked of her in the near future. Someone or something will give her some news that will help her in that very special process but it is her decision in how she takes that news when it comes to her situation.” Tanja paused. “This situation may be something involved with her wrestling career or her personal life, the spirits do not tell me. Madison will need to be cautious moving forward.”
Tanja finished Madison’s reading and turned herself from the desk to the Marcus’s camera, the smirk gone and a stoic gaze in its place.
“Madison Tempest and Damon Xalvador may not understand anything that I reveal in these readings but that doesn’t mean I can’t and I will find a way to use this information against them during Asylum.”
A lilting giggle is heard as the scene slowly fades to black from Tanja.
